d/c blocked ritual progress

I had 8/12 'start chase with different survivor' ritual done. I loaded into a match and hooked all of them at least once (after chases) and then one of them disconnected. when i got out i had 11/12 ticks. super freaking frustrating to have to do a whole extra match seemingly because someone d/c'd on second hook? because i DEFINITELY chased all four of them, and the d/c is the only thing i can think of. On PC
