Haste, Hooks, & Borrowed Time
I’m not suggesting they do this right now, maybe some time in the future, but I am thinking about what the effect would be on the game if when a person is unhooked they gained a haste effect for 10 seconds similar to the perk hope which I think is 7%.
Then change BT to be proximity based instead of based on the killer’s terror radius. Also shorten BT’s timer a bit. Maybe not half, but 2/3rds. However, if you are unhooked with BT, it should negate the haste effect since you are gaining hit protection.
The vast majority of red rank survivors seem to just heal under the hook, so I don’t see it affecting much besides a camping/tunneling killer. Even that, is just 10 seconds at 7%.

What's the point of haste? It just prolongs the survivor getting hit so that bt doesn't activate by the time the killer catches them.

For the most part, it’s an incentive to prevent point farming. But it has some interactive dynamics with BT, where it’s harder for a naturally unhooked survivor to provide protection hooks. Very dynamic.
