PC players disrespect Console players, but don't realize what people on console have been through.

I was mostly kidding with him because he has a 'tude. However, my reasoning is that if you're playing on console, it requires more effort to do research than it does for someone who is already sitting at a PC. That doesn't mean that people on console don't do research, it just means that they have more deterrents to getting research done, and people tend not to do things when there's a deterrent of some sort.

This might be my console player bias talking but just as a post on here nice one!. It's refreshing to see someone on here actually put together facts and make a well constructed post. I totally agree a lot not all but a lot have this big headedness about themselves cuz they have a computer. Also this links to pc players not wanting to give console players a chance at fairly earning legacy outfits and already existing ones. We never had a opportunity if I could I'd grind my butt off to get it but everytime someone brings it up like the other month Paula did pc players flip out. Gotta keep that gate keeping alive I guess. Not like they already have a list of in game advantages already

It's a pretty basic and well known concept that the game is harder in almost every way when playing on console. The skill cap to be good on console is massive compared with pc. Even on Max sensitivity to turn around and look at a killer takes so much longer than flicking the mouse back and forth. This then affects chases, juking, aiming (if you're killer with range).
If I have crossplay off the gameplay is much more evenly matched. Again, exception to the rules of course as there are some amazing console players but it's few and far between who have reached that cap.
I would gladly welcome a crossplay between console only option which I think they've floated based on surveys they've done.

I've lost count at how many P3 Claudette players on PC I've run into that do that. This happens on both sides.

I use my phone for the wiki as well and while it's true that mouse over doesn't work on mobile, mobile used to display the numbers in small print after the tremendously and such. I say used to, though, as it seems fandom messed it up somehow. Still, it's usually not a problem to use the wiki on mobile.

I mean, my only disrespect towards console players is because in 95% of the games that I am matched with or against a console survivor, they crouch everywhere. And if you think that's bad, half of the time they dont even have urban evasion.
I never shame console players for a lack of skill, whether that be due to console limitations or just a lack of practice, I shame console players who sandbag all game.

Console players tend to be better because gamers seldom play on PC, computers is for work and stuff. But these things do hold console back a bit so there are PC-players that look just as good as gamers.

I was on console for 3 years. I could never go back from PC. The frame rate and refusal to allow K+m despite cross play was the final straw for me. I pretty much abandoned by console account. All my dlcs and cosmetics.
I bought the dlcs back in a sale but Im not buying cosmetics on PC.

I don't really care about the whole console vs PC thing, each platform has good and bad players. But if you except certain people to do worse (e.g. Console Players/Claudettes/players from certain nationalities) you will remember the players that you encounter that fit your stereotype more than those who do not fit the stereotype, so it is hard to convince people that their view is wrong.
But I do think you are wrong about two things: PC has optimization issues aswell, I used to lose frames against certain killers aswell, sloppy butcher made my game freeze etc, it only got better with a newer graphics card. It might be worse on console but it is not an console exclusiv issue.
The second thing is toxicity. Many PC dbd players do not keep their insults in the chat, many comment on players steam profiles, which you also have to turn private to avoid that. And getting invitates from people who want to insult you happens aswell on steam.

Yeah even now we have fps drops that happen kinda often, most of the time for me it's when an exhaustion perk activates near me as a killer. I can't get hits from baiting out dead hard or reacting to other exhaustion perks because my screen literally freezes for half a second which is a lot.
I 100% agree with the messages thing, PC can easily ignore all comments but we communicated with the console message system which is easily spammable to annoy people with the high tone alert you get that also covers a part of your screen.
Also for those idiots that say "well console does X thing" no that is a person doing X thing and it's not limited to console. Do you know how many matches i have gotten with brain dead PC players? I literally just had a game on a swamp map where a meg had a full key build and literally did nothing all game and escaped by hatch and yes she was on PC.
edit: btw on console we can do just as good if not better than most PC players when it comes to all killers but blight, Oni i think, and ranged killers. However there are some people out there that can do amazing with ranged killers with a controller but they are rare and for nurse we can't be the best but we can easily be better than most nurses if we put the time into her.

I have actually gotten very good at nurse on console she if you can put the time into is on par or better than spirit on console.
As for blight since PC can literally turn better than us and there is a way to do 180* turns using macro's and ######### no console player can be better than a good blight on PC.

Even if this is bait, I just want anyone who feels this way to know that many console players are adapting due to cross play and figuring out their style. And as a console player who has gone up against pretty bad PC killers, I'd say anyone can be bad/casual, not just console players. Anyways, I hope you have more positive experiences with console players and see our potential lol :)!

I have had the opposite experience, actually, but it doesn't make me hate PC players or 'prefer' them over console. Anyone can be a bad teammate. Like, red rank console players tend to nod back if I nod at them while PC red ranks just ignore me, but that doesn't mean I don't like them (if that makes sense, since I like doing silly things when I find survivors lol!) I hope you meet more console players who come back for you during EGC, since I have been left to die by survivors on every console/PC/LED hamster wheel whatever lmao!

PC player here -- I have a 49" ultrawide screen.
If I stretch my screen, it's a disadvantage. The game only allows for 16:9 sorry ratios; other aspect ratios actually have options of your view cut off.
Also, while I agree that the console experience has been worse, console players are worse than their similarly-ranked PC counterparts.
Every time I get to smash down another dense console players who thinks that lazy circle you guys call a 360 is at all effective, I have a little chuckle. And these are red ranked players...
Similarly, your killers just aren't competitive. What passes for a red ranked killer on console wouldn't make it to people on PC.
The worst, though, are the survivors on my team. I've been on a team of all rank 1 survivors vs a rank 7 PC Legion who destroyed us. Console players use stealth first, and they forget that headphones are a thing. They think if they run around a wall and break LoS they're suddenly invisible, nevermind the bloodstains and loud AF breathing.
Are there console players who are decent players? Sure. But the vast majority are liabilities.

after playing just now i was reminded of another thing i can't stand about console players. they go around in packs instead of splitting up. sometimes they will deadass follow you around like a puppy because they are scared to be alone. that ######### is so annoying and on top of that, inefficient.

I do see potential in console players. I'm just saying that from my experience with them. Maybe I've should've made it clear that what I was saying was just from my encounters with them. Obviously there can be good huntresses and billys that are on console but what I said is what I've seen from them.

Why Did he switch to pc? Because ylu.can do way better with certain killers on pc. Nurse, blight, oni, huntress, slinger. As far as survivors, I've seen awful on both sides and I don't think there is any handicap, except for video lag on previous gen consoles.

Why after years does Exposed, Mangled, Exhausted, Bloodlust, Myers tiering up, and dozens of other things drop frames badly?
Why do all the indoor maps still freeze the game and drops fps into the teens? Why does your own menus and bloodwebs freeze the game? Random disconnects? Dying during struggle? List goes in and on.
You love this game. We love this game. Could you love consoles a little more please.

What kills me is all these people in the comments who act like they know what platform the other players are on 🙄, different consoles show up as a globe for console players and windows store or stadia shows up as a globe for pc , so really nobody knows what the ######### they're talking about and want to feel high and mighty talking on here when they'll never truly know without a platform marker beside their name instead of a globe, this whole console vs pc war is bullshit because there are bad and good players on both sides of the coin and you can't judge people for their play because you don't know if they're trolling or doing a challenge/daily for points it's beyond me why people keep this up.

PC or console is irrelevant. The majority of the survivors I get paired with play like absolute dog #########. I’m yet to see these ‘PC Gods’ people talk about. None of the ‘limitations’ I had from playing on PS4 made me a bad survivor. I’m currently on PS5 and don’t feel like I play any better. If you’re a good player, you’ll be good no matter what system you play on. Period. I play against and with PLENTY of PC TTV players and I have never once felt inferior. In fact, quite the opposite.
I’ve played against Otzdarva and survived and when I rewatched the match from his perspective he kept complimenting me for the smart plays I did. I’ve played with Morf about 4 times and each time I’ve outperformed him.
It’s just annoying to see console players grouped into one box. I don’t need anybody to tell me I’m a good player as I know I am and I’m confident enough to say that. Just because you have bad experiences with some globe players doesn’t mean we’re all bad. I’ve had a ton of PC players DC on first downs or generally just hide and be unproductive all game and yes I know they were PC players from their usernames. Do I sit here and say all PC players are bad? No. Because that would make me an idiot. 🌚

A very good console nurse/blight have my upmost respect considering their more limited than their pc counterparts. So when a console player does rise up and prove how good we consoles are i love it! Seriously though even if were at a disadvantage doesn't mean were instantly bad.
