Kate's stage shaker top causes a gap between top and bottom with several leg pieces:
Line dance Jeans
neko denim shorts
even the piece that goes with the top has a slight gap
Jorts as well

Off the shoulder top doesn't have this issue - not so obvious anyway. Maybe that can be a guide.
