Killer Concept: The Grey

This is still a little rough around the edges, and just a first draft kinda thing, but it stems from the idea of an Alien killer. Obviously a Xenomorph is a widely sought after licensed killer that we're likely never going to get, but it got me thinking of something that could fit better within DBD's format and aesthetic. This guy wouldn't look at all out of place on Coldwind Farm for example.

It essentially combines some aspects of Doctor, Freddy and Pyramid Head. His main power controls similarly to Freddy's dream snares, except they're harder to aim, and they need to land directly on the survivor when you activate them, for a more powerful effect.

Killer: The Grey

Height: Tall

Terror Radius: Small

Speed: 4.6m/s (115%)

Power: Capture

Hold down the power button to begin Capture. The Grey holds out its hand, seemingly communicating with some entity far above through telepathic means. After a second to 'charge up' a bright beam of light from above appears in front of it, with a 2-meter radius, and slowly moves forward, away from the Grey’s relative position at a speed of 2m/s, up to a maximum distance of 12 meters.

Release the power button to finish Capture, if the beam is directly on a survivor, it locks onto them and they are frozen in place for 2.5 seconds. If the survivor is standing perfectly still when hit by the beam of light, they are only frozen for 0.5 seconds. Survivors hit by a basic attack are knocked out of the Capture state.

While Capture is active, your movement speed is decreased to 3.6m/s (90%) (net speed of the capture beam would then be 5.6m/s)

This power has a long cooldown if successfully freezing a survivor, and a short cooldown if it fails to reach a survivor.

Secondary Power: Abduction

Using the secondary power button when a Survivor is frozen in a beam of light, will abduct that survivor and send them to a distant point on the map. They will be inflicted with Oblivious for 30 seconds, if injured they will be inflicted with Broken for 30 seconds, and you will see their aura for 6 seconds. From the perspective of the Abducted survivor, other survivors will briefly appear to them in the form of The Grey while they suffer from Oblivious.

Additional Effect: Abducting an Injured survivor who is still suffering from Oblivious following a previous Abduction, will instead send them to Suspension Beam on the opposite side of the map. They will need to be rescued by another survivor, otherwise they will be sacrificed to the Entity. There is no skillcheck involved, but the timer ticks down 10% quicker than a typical hook state.

Perks

Interference: Survivors working on gens within your terror radius are inflicted with Oblivious for 2/3/4 seconds. If they stop repairing during this time, that generator starts automatically regressing at 80%/100%/120% of normal regression speed.

Painted Targets: When a survivor is rescued from the hook, if you are more than 32/28/24 meters away from the hook, you see all other survivors’ auras for 2/3/4 seconds. This has a cooldown of 40 seconds.

Plausible Deniability: Survivors hit with your basic attack become cursed for 30 seconds. Any survivors who come within 4/8/12 meters of the cursed survivor are inflicted with Oblivious.

Add-on ideas:

Iridescent: Abducted survivors are automatically put into the injured state. You are unable to see their aura after Abduction.

Iridescent: You can see the auras of any survivors who appear as The Grey when they are within 16 meters of the afflicted survivor.

Very Rare: To survivors who are successfully Abducted, other survivors will appear as The Grey with an illusionary red stain for the duration of their Obliviousness. Survivors are only Captured for 1.5 seconds; this effect trumps all other add-ons.

Rare: To survivors who are successfully Abducted, other survivors will appear as The Grey for 15 seconds. Survivors are only Captured for 2 seconds; this effect trumps all other add-ons.

Very Rare: Abducted survivors suffer from Oblivious for 50 seconds. You can only read the auras of Abducted survivors for 2 seconds.

Rare: Abducted survivors suffer from Oblivious for 40 seconds. You can only read the auras of Abducted survivors for 4 seconds.

Very Rare: Survivors are Captured for 3.5 seconds. The requirement for reducing the Capture duration is changed to ‘if the survivor is looking at you’.

Rare: Survivors are Captured for 3 seconds. The requirement for reducing the Capture duration is changed to ‘if the survivor is not sprinting’.

Uncommon: The reduced Capture duration is increased by 1 second.

Common: The reduced Capture duration is increased by 0.5 seconds.

I read "The Gay" first and was a little worried.
