Touching the generator before Corrupt Intervention activates makes the survivors scream

Issue: At the start of the game whenever I spawn next to a generator it appears available. I start repairing and after a few seconds Corrupt Intervention takes effect. The action of blocking the generator makes the survivor scream revealing their location. The killer then immediately rushes over to the gen where I screamed, which kinda gives a significant advantage to the killer where to look at the start of the game.
How often does this occur: Every game where you spawn next to a gen and the killer has Corrupt Intervention.
Maps I've encountered with this issue: Hawkins, Autohaven, Dead Dawg Saloon
