Solo survivor sucks

Seriously just a slew of bad teammates. Played a spirit the obsession gave up on hook, I dropped a pallet on the killer now I'm obsession, gates get powered so I run to one both of the survivors are there and instead of opening it they 99 it and run away knowing the spirit is glued to me, she finally gets me, has nemesis/rancor and I die without ever being hooked.

My teammates then make their miraculous return, proceed to tbag my corpse and escape. When am I gonna get teammates like the ones I face as killer? I'm just getting complete jerks trolling.

Solo has nothing to do with player skill. I only do solo and see my swf counterparts are usually worse than me; bad looping, can't break chase, heavily reliant on second chance perks. Some Swf are more effective in teamwork but lack individual ability thanks to the team carry.

I never said anything about skill I am a solo survivor and I'm saying solo sucks because it sucks, there is no incentive to play solo survivor because of the gimp squad teammates you get.

I have never played swf and have actually said many times in these forums how swf are cloaked behind eachother and playing on ez mode.

im currently at purple ranks and i still see self caring urban evasion claudettes and sb saving megs. i dont know which is worse, claudettes or megs. claudettes self care in the corner of the map and waste time. megs would rather let you go into the struggle phase than use their sprint burst. im sick of getting matched with potatoes

Solo is hell most of the time. If ever you needed proof that rank and skill do not go hand in hand just spend a couple of hours in solo. Some of the biggest potatoes are in red ranks.

Solo que can be tormenting. Watching a red rank feng urban evading to your rescue for 30 seconds and then one meter away she steps in a bear trap and you die, is really annoying. But now in retroperspective its funny.

You need to have the mindset that everything can happen and after the match it doesnt matter anymore, otherwise solo que is not healthy.

Don't play solo queue after rank reset. It's still interesting how useless randoms can be. If you are not in a chase, do gens. It's not that hard.

I still throw myself into solo queue because it's the best teacher. You don't get map awareness and game sense if you only play SWF and someone tells you everything you need to do.

Honestly, it's because survivor is way to weak in general. I've kept track of 30 games last patch and about 40 to 50 this patch. I'm getting 2/3s of my games being 4ks. I thought I would try killer, even though I play survivor way more and I'm getting easy 4ks as killer. It doesn't even feel worthwhile to play killer because it's so easy. The map size nerf just gave to big an advantage to killers.

Oh, yeah, babe! Hit me with that raw big fat SQ experience. Gimme moar!

Didn't you read in the ToS that to join SQ you must be head deep into the kinky culture and ways of BDSM?

Solo is 90% garbage at all ranks. Sure, you'll get the occasional good games where everyone kn your team knows what to do, but these games are few and far between.

Urban evaders, hook bomb for points, dcers, death of first hook because whatever reason, self care after every hit, memers, I could literally go on.

Personally I usually just do a game or two as solo just to get daily shard bonus. Usually it only takes a game or 2 to make me regret solo queue.

I just had 2 very bad matches myself at red rank.

Leatherface match: No one on my team had any clue on how to run him besides myself. Did 2 gens myself and almost a 3rd because he was proxy camping whoever he caught on hook. Before even the 2nd person is death hooked, I've maxed out my boldness category. Several times in my match, I was in a chase and ran by both the Claudette doing nothing as well as the Jane. They were just stealthing around, not doing the final 2 gens. Killer gives up chase on me to go check on gens, finds and death hooks the Jane. Did the 2nd last gen with Claudette. Realizing that the Claudette wasn't doing anything afterwards except hiding and trying to find hatch, and LF patrolling back and forth between gens, I know I either get hatch or I get EG. He finds me, chases and again gives up chase to go back to the gens. Finds Claudette and she legit runs him to the hatch before getting death hooked. He closes hatch immediately and I nearly open the EG but he gets there and we go on another chase where I finally get downed.

Billy match: This Billy wasn't very good and I had him juked. I get hooked and the Dwight comes to save me. Killer proxy camps and sees Dwight so starts chasing. Dwight brings killer over to me and plays around the jungle gym the entire time, instead of going literally anywhere else on the map instead. The other 2 debate back and forth if they should come (theyre not even on gens), the Meg stealths around and lets me get on 2nd hook while the killer is focused on Dwight running around me. The other Dwight who didn't do anything at all, d/cs. At this point I'm fed up and just let myself die on 2nd hook. If thats how my teammates want to play, fine. Enjoy your 2/3 man game early on. The quality of teammates today has been really bad.

Just constant dive bombing into downs, or people not going for saves/not doing gens when they should be. Oh and were on coldwind farm both times. ZZzz.

    Stupidity doesn't represent imbalance.

I just played a game where i was on the other side of the map while the other 3 randoms stayed next to a slugging oni and all went down. The killer won because they were to dumb to spread out or only cared about tome challenges.

Anything below rank 1 is automatically disqualified from testing how strong killer is and even then you get yellow ranks in red because of the terrible emblem system.

So only the people in red ranks get to play the game. Everyone else should just quit?

And imbalance in the lower ranks is just as bad as an imbalance in the upper ranks. You can't just balance a game only toward only 3.8% of the game and not care about the rest of the players, that's just a great way to alienate 96.2% of the player base.

You can't balance for bad players because bad players eventually, or have the potential to get good. Then we have what we have now. 4 man swf that don't suck win every game (depip squad)

Yes only the red ranks get to play. The rest need to shut up and watch some tutorials and learn.

I gotta agree with this - I am actively bad at survivor when it comes to looping in chases. Just doesn't click. I'd love to see me in chase as killer. But the active lack of basic game knowledge when I'm playing soloq is astounding.

I'm on hook running kindred... and watching three people crouch walk toward the hook as a killer camps me. The killer's terror radius is getting steadily louder and people are immersed in M1 on a gen. Running directly at killers who have one-shot downs to try to save someone on the ground.

That makes no sense. 96.2% of the players are not bad. The largest majority of players are average. 3.8% of players will be Great, 3.8% of players will be Bad. The other 92.4% are going to be between the 2, standard normal distribution.

Using Kindred or bond is like watching a bunch of clowns put out a fire. It's s a spectacle seeing people AT RED RANKS crouch walking behind some rocks or whatever ACROSS THE MAP FROM THE KILLER.
