Franklin's bug? Item disappeared after pick-up
The killer was running the perk Franklin's demise and so I dropped my flashlight when they hit me. When I re-found it again and picked it up it still disappeared. To clarify I watched my character do the motion to pick up but then heard the sound of the flashlight being slurped away by the entity.

You could've very well picked it up the second the timer ran out, causing the animation, but before you actually took possession of it. Did you happen to notice the debuff timer next to your perks?

Hey, this also happened to my mrs on stream. The item was picked up, the animation played out, the animation stopped, she regained control of the character and then it disappeared. It is kinda difficult to see how far along the timer was, it was VERY close. But i think that if the item is still able to be picked up you should be able to keep it. I think it should wait until the debuff timer disappears for the item to actually disappear/not be retrievable/not be retainable.
