stridor does not work
Its pretty obvious you've broke it on purpose because of spirit.
I'm getting 4 iron wills in my lobby every game so I'm not even using it on spirit. I tried it on nurse and clown. 2 radically different killers.
The perk quite simply barely works. Audio is not noticeably louder and it used to be, I remember this perk was so strong years ago it was bad for Spirit because it made survivors sound closer than they are. Secondly half the time the survivor makes ZERO noise. How is it when I'm chasing a survivor around the shack and I have clear line of sight and there's barely any distance between us, there is no noise? like they were making no injured sounds whatsoever.
The perk simply does not work. Some survivors when running still do not make sound, some make sound at a regular volume.

Stridor works perfectly fine. Iron Will overrides Stridor, so a survivor with Iron Will and the effects of Stridor would have the same grunts of pain as if they were running No Mither

Maybe it's your headset? Works perfectly fine for me.

My headset wouldn't affect grunts of pain sounding the same as before stridor, also it wouldn't affect grunts of pain sounds not coming through when chase music and vault sound effects are coming through perfectly fine.
I remember what old stridor used to be like. It was actually noticeable. and not every survivor i chase has iron will. They have unquestionably turned down the volume of stridor, probably to lessen the complaints about spirit is my guess

I've just checked this in game and heard sounds perfectly well when running Stridor.

How do sounds work?
sometimes a survivor comes out of a building, goes around the wall and sounds continue, sometimes sounds stop altogether. It seems random as to when you can hear them and when they can't. Survivors can go behind one of the wooden walls on mothers dwelling and sometimes you hear them, other times all sounds stop.
What makes this case strange is the fact I was in the shack with them at times and outside the shack looking through the window and the survivor was silent. Sometimes they make noise frequently, other times they go a long, long time without making any noise at all. So are sounds random? or are they at timed intervals? i feel like they are random a survivor can moan and grunt 10 times in 20 seconds, or they can go 30+ seconds without making any noise at all.
Coincidentally this thread appeared I notice -> https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/237061/spirit-players-how-do-you-deal-with-the-sounds-inconsistencies
So it seems others are affected but from what I read in there the problem is just sounds in general being inconsistent and not the Stridor perk.

Sometimes 1 survivor is completely quiet. But that's a bug that has been in the game for over a year now, still not fixed.

Update:
I just had a game on blood lodge. Spirit with Stridor. The survivor did not have Iron will. They were making noise earlier in the trial, at the end of the game I was chasing them and they were not making any sounds at all. I didn't phase, I kept chasing them at 110% speed out of curiosity to see how long it was before they made a noise, and we went from one side of blood lodge to the other and the survivor made zero sound the entire way.
So either Stridor is bugged or audio is bugged but there were no grunts of pain, no injury sounds, no breathing, nothing. It was long enough that they should have made some sound. There is 100% a sound bug in this game, next time I will try to record it as proof.

I was using Off The Record which is supposed to reduce grunts of pain 100% once Unhooked. I was going against the spirit two days ago that had Stridor and I immediatelly knew she had it once I started making noises that I shouldn't have.
