The new Wraith buff was great, however...
The new Wraith buff is just amazing, we can finally play the Wraith without addons and still do fine.
But, he still needs more changes, I know that he was just given two buffs in only a few months, but he still needs more to his cloak. His cloak is his power, and should be simple, yet full of useful things. It might seem like overkill since you just game him 2 buffs, but I argue that he is still a weak killer even when played correctly against good survivors. His addons also need changing since some of them are borderline useless or offer no real value. But more on that another time.
I don't want to push it, but Wraith will need more changes and buffs in the future, for now let's focus on the short post-cloak lunge.
The new lunge that came with his buff is simply not needed. That really long lunge speed boost that he got post-uncloaking is actually very useful and should be brought back. He is an ambush killer and as such, his strength relies on catching survivors off guard. That is the whole point of his power, and it works quite well to an extent.
The baby lunge (lol) he has now when coming out of cloak is pretty crippling. I, along with many other people, would appreciate it if this change was reverted. The Wraith is a decent killer, he will not be put in an overpowered position if he has a good lunge with the buff he received.

Can you elaborate on what you mean on the lunge changes?
I think I have noticed what you are referring to but the perceived changes aren't mentioned in the patch notes, so I want to know exactly what you mean.
It seems like the post uncloak move-speed or lunging was nerfed. I wasn't sure if that was just an indirect perceptual thing for having been used to the distance survivors would get when you uncloaked before the changes.
(EX: Because you are slower while uncloak now then before, It takes longer to catch-up. Since it takes longer to catch-up it feels like the speed boost post uncloak is less then it should be.)
Just want to confirm that it really is a nerf and that the () scenario is not true.
P.S.: If they did an indirect nerf, does that mean that an add-on less wraith now is worse then a wraith with just yellow windstorms before latest buff.

No, because Windstorms shortened his lunge too, due to slowing down his speed coming out of stealth. But his lunge did get shorter. However, I am not sure that was intentional, as it was not mentioned in the PTB or live, but is noticeable.

The post-cloak movement speed lunge was nerfed, so yes the speedy lunge you get right out of uncloaking.
I don't think it is perceptual, people seem to be agreeing otherwise.
I am pretty sure it is a nerf, if not then it might just be a bug.
If this is true then no, Wraith will only be slightly worse than he could have been. The mms increase at base is phenomenal.

Simple killers cannot be too powerful. This has to be a rule. And wraith is a simpe killer. You don't need any skill to use the wraith. I think the current state is just fine for a simple killer like wraith
