More objects to interact with on maps.

I was thinking it'd be fun and shake things up a bit to have something else to interact with on maps. Maybe give each map a unique item placed somewhere or a change to its main structure that can be accessed somehow.

Nothing that can be abused over and over but maybe a one time thing or limited use thing that can be accessed after finding a key or mcguffin for it in a chest.

Like what if there was a zip line going from the second floor of the Farm House down across the cornfield that a survivor could use as an escape should they have a key for it.

Aforementioned mcguffins don't need to be in chests they could be a thing that spawns somewhere on the map like the runes from the tome challenges.

There could be some for the killer as well but since they have uncontested free roam of the map maybe they should have to find numerous ones before being able to sabotage the maps unique feature or trap it.

For example take Lery's. A fun change here could be shutters on various window vaults and doors. If the survivors find the thing then for a time it switches up the open and closed doors and vaults making it more survivor friendly and if the killer finds them all then it closes some off disabling some loops.

Just a little something else to do on the map that can add a bit of randomness and shake up the routine.

I'd be against anything too elaborate (I think the zip line idea borders on that) but I'd love some more unique mechanics on maps. Like how completing gens on The Game opens up doors, or the one in the Temple of Purgation, Dead Dawg Saloon has the gallows for a quick escape, or the secret 'staircase' and the clocktower on Midwich.

There's a secret room on Hawkins that only spawns if the basement is under the stairs (instead of by the portal control room) which you can blink into as the Nurse. It would be neat if the door to that room opened under some specific condition. It was set up as a clue to the golden toolbox, which is another easter egg you might not be aware of.

Maybe a new map that changes considerably during EGC, blocking off certain routes and opening up others.

I think if they added stuff like this it would be cool.
