Totem spawn fix?

Is anyone talking about bad totem spawns? I know we got Undying as a band aid for this.

Undying meta might be gone, but the problem with totem placements stays.

I was not using undying simply because it takes extra perk slot and I wont be using it now after the nerf for sure.

Also I dont use hex perks often, apart from Ruin on few killers. This post is actually made from my survivor experience, when I find totems around gens all the time and sometimes even spawn right next to them which is kinda lame.


My idea is not to hide them and make them very hard to find, just adjust general totem spawns so they cannot be spawned in the middle of nowhere or to be right next to a generators. Just so make them last a little longer at the start of the match.

Hex perks are meant to be cleansed anyway, but its big difference if you lose Ruin after 3min of game or in first 20 seconds just because Dwight spawned right infront of it and wasnt even looking for it yet.

    The maps with corn are especially bad, the totems just sit in the middle of the maps, not even hidden in a corner around some objects, often right next to a gen or a chest.

    I don't even bother with Ruin + Undying anymore. Haunted Ground is a bigger deterent.

    Maybe Hex perks shouldn't be cleansed in the first two minutes of the match or have some small bonus they give when cleansed, so the perks slots aren't wasted 90% of the time.
