Any suggestions for BUFF Trapper?

My little idea, you may disagree,

but I still suggest, your traps cannot be disrarme,

but you can use the Stone perk to disarme traps.

    By diffuse do you mean disarm?

    Because in that case, no. That would be extremely OP.

    I do well with current Trapper, if there absolutely had to be a buff, I’d say make his brown bag base kit. Perhaps even reworking some of his add ons to make them more unique.

    Increase the radius of traps like they use to be. Survivors should not be able to squeeze past them where trapper can't

    Add the grass back instead of removing it like they are.

    traps are at minimum yellow darkening addon by default

    he starts with all his traps or stitched bag base.

    That's the best i can do without making him broken.

    On the fence about dead hard ignoring traps.

    Things that would improve the Trapper:

    - getting traps from lockers instead of losing a ton of time by going to the other end of the map, to collect that one trap. Max amount of traps still applies.

    - making it harder to escape a trap on your own. Stepping into a trap, outside of a chase, should be more punishing.

    - allow grabs from people that are helping someone escape a trap.

    - make the +1 trap bag base kit.

    - change the darken trap addon to have a similar color as the floor of the map. No point in having dark traps on snow or indoor maps.

    - add a camouflage addon, that creates a small patch of grass (rubble on indoor maps) around the trap.

    * Make him able to carry 3 traps at all times thus allowing him NOT to have to use the trapper bag add on. He can then prioritise setting speed or disarm time, depending on the tactics he wants to employ.

    * Dead hard should absolutely NOT counter a bear trap.

    * Reduce the trap layout spread during games. Some traps are well out of the way. Could they perhaps be stored in lockers? Picks up 3 at a time but a slower loading animation.


    He needs new maps for new trapping locations also.

    We have killers with addons that change their playstyle completely. Like Myers or Hag. I think we need something similar for all killers.

    He should get a bag. After that Iri Stone + Honing Stone and you are set.

    1. Implement a toggleable clipping system that targets a often desired to trap location for easier and faster pin point trappings.
    2. Implement new addons that starts the game WITH Traps in desired trapping locations, already armed.
    3. Redesign Mori to force Survivors head into a Trap.

    make iridescent stone a basekit. i really dont think his power should get any buffs considering hes already a boring killer and theres nothing that can change it

    One idea I personally like is to give Trapper the ability to pick up Bear Traps from a distance. Not from, like, all the way across the map, but a nice healthy range that can basically allow Trapper to pick up Traps without having to marathon across the entire map to pick them up AND to set them up somewhere else. Put a little icon over Bear Traps he is looking at similar to when Freddy is looking at a gen, and by holding the pick up button for a second or two, it will teleport to his hand.

    the biggest problem of the game is gen-rush, and the traper only encourages it

    It's kinda why I suggest decreasing the amount of time Trapper spends running to a Trap to pick it up by letting him grab it from a long distance.
