Who out there had trouble understanding the mechanics of Borrowed Time and oblivious/undetectable?
Borrowed Time is being changed to to have no restrictions regarding terror radius to activate, apparently due to people finding the mechanics confusing. So, I'm wondering who out there found this confusing? Just trying to get an idea of where this is coming from, because I don't think I've ever heard someone say it was confusing.

I thought it was to do with consistency rather than confusion. Seems a bit arbitrary that BT triggering depends on whether Freddy's put you to sleep or if the Pig is crouching down.

I think they are confusing players now. The descriptions says that they remove the terror radius condition but they don't specify it BT have a range or if its trigger always despite the killer being near or not.

I was interpreting it to simply always work, regardless of where the killer is. Like, the killer can no longer counter it.

12 seconds is very little time so it's still counterable.

I don't think it was finding the mechanics confusing that was the issue, but the fact that the perk needed consistency. Now it works as long as you've got it equipped regardless of which killer you're facing.

I remember being unhooked in front of a camping Myers with BT and I got downed (because he had no TR) when I first started playing.
Just last week, a sleeping Dwight came to unhook when Freddy kept coming back to the hook (bless him, intentions were good) and I got downed because there is no TR when you're asleep.
So, yes. I get that people get co fused about it lol
