Please explain why Trickster gate blocking perk only activates when the last GEN is complete
The perk only activates when the last generator is complete - instead of the more intelligent, balanced design of when the exit gates are powered. Because as it stands now, if you close hatch, the perk does not activate. It just cost me adept because I wasn't a loser who slugged for the 4K. Please design better, this is sad.

Because it would only waste a lot of time for that survivor. That's 1/3 of the timer already gone, and while that means little to nothing if the exit gates are on the opposite ends of the map, if they're extremely close by then every second counts.
If you want a consistent perk for exit gates in 1 v 1 situations, just go with whispers. They'll have no chance of escaping unless you screw up.

Because the EGC timer starts when the hatch is closed and not when the gens are done.

Off-topic but I feel like No Way Out needs a buff. 42 seconds just doesn't cut it for some reason. Maybe it should last for at least 70 seconds, aka 15 for each token + 10 startoff = 70 total.

Well, I don't think it's a waste of time.
Imagine if you're the Trapper and haven't placed traps under gate switches, No Way Out could let you buy some time to set them up even if gates are spread apart.

Imagine being the last person. Now having to wait 42s for the exit gate to unlock does nothing. That survivor will just hide until the timer runs out and start on the exit gate after that. They will still escape if they don't go against high mobility killers or if the gates are spread out.

It would be a lot better if it only blocked the doors at 75% progression. Stops people from hiding out the timer.
