Victor cancels Adrenaline

if Victor is grabbing us and adrenaline activates while victor is still on us, we gain a speed boost but health state remains Injured with broken.
Shouldn't adrenaline not be activated while victor is on us, and only when we are free of Victor it gets activated?
This made adrenaline completely useless apart from the speed boost, cause I was downed immediately by Charlotte even though I had adrenaline, Is this is a feature or a bug?
