I don't think the goal should be to bounce into every match and do all five totems. I think there's supposed to be an element of randomness and chance. Like, maybe you get lucky and you happen across the totems -- maybe you don't. If you're really intense about it, you can bring a perk to help you out.

At the same time, I would be interested to see an experiment where a four-man in a real game tried to do all five totems before popping the last gen, just to see if they could do it, and how long it would take.

Yes, devs "solve" every issue by giving us perks. At this point, i´m honestly surprised that Bloodlust isn´t a killer perk.

But thats the way it is right now. Who knows, maybe they´ll surprise us during the 5 year anniversary stream with implementing much needed features.

And yes, i know, that i´m lying to myself when i believe something like that is even possible...

I have a personal rule when I play survivor to find at least one totem and cleanse it. If every survivor did at least one totem, that's 4 out of the 5 gone every single time. I don't understand why this is so difficult for some people.... guess it's just easier to complain

    So you are saying.

Even if we gave a bone counter, it's still too hard to do bones.

Ah, but... In a way, it is. Especially in regards to the 'do bones' argument.

See, if you assume that survivors should just 'cleanse all totems in case of NOED', then it means that NOED comes into play regardless of whether the killer has it or not, with the one exception being situations where survivors decipher all of the killer's perks.

If your entire gameplan changes based on the possibility of NOED being in the round, then it means that NOED is exerting pressure every single round.

Prior to the nerf, DS was in a similar state, where killers wouldn't pick up a target removed from the hook in the last 60 seconds if there was an obsession anywhere, on the off-chance that DS was in play. This meant that DS was always a presence in games. It's also the reason that people wanted matches to always have an obsession in them, so killers would have to live with the threat of DS being in the game, to dissuade tunnelling tactics.

Quite bold of you to assume 4 SQ players make a team :P

Sure, and if NOED gets nerfed, good. NOED is garbage "perk" if it can even be called that anyways.

You are playing 90% of match without 4th perk, at least 1/5 killers will have chance to use better perk than NOED.

    Sadly yes.

But if we are honest, thats a problem with bad players and even if we buff certein things, it wont change that much since they still stay bad and stupid.

(Doesnt mean it shouldnt be buffed or anything like that, i am all for a totem counter as base kit for example)
