Enhanced EGC

Prologue
I believe we can all agree that the EGC is one of the most adrenaline rushing points in the entire game, you feel this with the environment decaying and seeing the collapse time getting closer to the inevitable.
I have some ideas to make this event even more terrifying, making the EGC a true life or death experience. 😁
Environmental Decay
Pretty simple, as the collapse expires — the Entity will manifest into the trial grounds.
- Bloody vines, tentacles, and spikes will begin to grow onto objects. At its most aggressive form when there's less than 30 seconds remaining: The Entity will completely destroy objects in the trial (won't affect gameplay, it's purely for visuals)
- The region that separates the trial grounds from the outside void will begin to decay. At its most aggressive form when there's less than 30 seconds remaining: The border region of the map will be completely missing due to the intensity of the collapse (won't affect gameplay as you won't be able to fall out of the map, it's purely for visuals)
- Exclusive to the last quarter of the collapse, the environment will begin to rain blood.
Complete Collapse
Once the collapse has expired, the trial literally collapses, the ground crumbles causing all remaining players to fall into the void.
Shortly after all players fall into the void, survivors will be defenseless against the Entity who will kill the remaining survivor(s). Killers on the other hand, will be able to spectate this process as it plays out.

Sounds cool but is probably a lot of work to implement that could be spent working on new content or improving old content. Although I imagine the environmental decay stuff is probably not too much work to implement and that would be cool to see.

I think this sounds cool, I'd just worry if visuals like that would work on consoles or if it'd cause more performance issues.

It'll be amazing seeing the map literally collapse, just imagine the pressure players will feel! 😁

Also make it not slow down when survivors are dying or hooked.
NOED slugging would suck slightly less then.
