Me, after seeing the new patch:

After downloading patch I loaded into game. Between loading screen and main menu I had a black screen for 20 seconds, thought my game was going to crash. Once in main menu the news didn't pop up with new patch notes, when I manually clicked on news it still is 5.0.1. Decided to restart just to make sure that was right. Again, same thing. 20 second black screen before going into main menu and no updated news. Looking for a match now as survivor, will report back once I finish match.

This is what frustrates me, i dont care about the rpd map, it sucks anyway. I buy the dlc for the killers and the perks. Nemesis is STILL unplayable and it makes me want to throw #########.

I once tried to dead hard over a bear trap. The game lagged out, and once it stopped I was caught in the trap.

Seen complaints to remove the pass over traps invulnerability for years here. Inflicting console mode on everyone is how that finally gets achieved.

Jumped on my PS4 Pro after the update to check if anything has improved. Not only are all of the old bugs still there(freezing, frame drops) but I ran into a brand new bug where the terror radius of the killer never went past the "killer is moderately close" stage,but the chase music never started no matter what. How did they manage to not only not even fix the old bugs with the bugfix patch, but actually introduce a new bug?!

Wait I noticed that as well. I was playing against a hag and her terror radius was far away, however she appeared next to me and downed me. I don't know if its a bug that happens every once in a while or if it was just me not paying attention to the terror radius

I tried today for 2 hours as killer on my ps4 pro and the gameplay is so unpleasant. It froze every now and then. I barely understood what what was happening during some chases. The game is so off.
I have to finish my rift so I will play without any excitement until 70. Bhvr really outdid themselves on this one. I'm really angry with them.
And the anniversary event will be the cherry on the cake. They will pretend as if every player is celebrating...

Trickster hit me with his bat and the game froze for couple seconds. Think froze for him too and think it caused him to lose me because he didn't keep chasing me.

I can't believe they made it worse :(
Just tested a survivor game on Mothers Dwelling and the freezes are both longer and more frequent; and I presume killer is even worse than survivor as always.
It was basically unplayable before but I was struggling though it on the hope that it would only be for a week... or 2... now I don't know if we will see a fix before the Mid Chapter patch which is just unacceptable; and I have to sit out and watch everyone else enjoying the anniversary event while I'm still not even able to enjoy the content I've paid for weeks ago :/
Really, really sad and disappointed.
Roll back the changes so I can at least play during the event with the problems from last patch, as they suddenly don't seem so bad in comparison to this mess :'(

Reading all of these recent posts, i truly feel bad for you console players and it's a shame that it only gets worse. As you already know, things aren't that much better on the PC side but it's definitely not bad to this extent. I personally get really bad lags only when i leave the game running for 2 hours+. Other than that i get the random occasional frame drops which are annoying but can live with i guess... Not that it changes the fact that this shouldn't happen in the first place.
It's worth adding that i actually have to play stretched resolution for a somewhat decent experience as native just makes me have to deal with even more frame drops which gets extremely irritating. This wasn't the case back when i started playing in 2018.
It's ridiculous.

So, I tried the police station, I'm doing well, you could say that the fps went up, but I'm still angry with Behavior with this performance problem, Justice for all the console and PC brothers.

I didn't think it possible. I really didn't. But today's patch worsened game performance that already was worsened by last week's update that itself had been worsened by the RE chapter coming out.
It's maddening to think the game ran better-ish before Nemmy came out, but sadly here we are.

Watching Paulie Esther right now. He has pretty new computer that until patch 5.0.2 was working great, now he is getting stutters while playing survivor. Not as bad as what we've had on console but definitely not good sign that after the most recent update his performance that was fine has started to have issues.

Yep I jumped on last night to see if things was better as had barley any issues last week and welp it was an experience playing Freddie and teleporting while walking that's a buff no wait..the frame drops was to blame and spirit was getting stuck before phasing because the frames would drop just using her power yay fun! 😬🐷lol
I was highly confused and sad that yet again console players are going to suffer through the advent again yay (sarcasm)

If anyone knows if thats possible to make a complaint at Sony / Psn ? The game is unplayable, maybe having a wave of report could force them to resolve the issues.
It's really unprofessional from them to work for months on a chapter and deliver us this result.

Paulie is pretty great and he does care about the console players which is nice. While he may not make a video dedicated to it he has commented multiple times on his streams about the current issues console was having even when he wasn't having issues, it wasn't until this patch he started having performance issues. He is one that keeps bringing up PTB for console too. He brought it up last year when ps4 was unplayable and just before the 5.0.2 patch in this tweet.

I will 100% test the stuff out if they made PTB for consoles.
Maybe combine it with PC PTB too, make a few changes, test them out in an ongoing PTB.
I believe Rust and H1Z1 in the past had 2 different games: an test branch and an real game branch. And so what that it costs them money. I want a good game to play, that's my right as a paying costumer. I think it's possible they make more money in the long run when they test changes to perks more often than in a mid-chapter ptb.

The only thingI got when doing my bloodweb was an error 111 and it happen when the event became active.
also got an error stating it couldn't save/update my save file (I think it was that) after playing my first game which I got hit across a pallet
