So I finally spend some shards on this guy and I have to say...he is so weak it's actually comical, you buffed him too already? Holy bananas man this killer is seriously a joke, he is so weak he isn't even fun he is just annoying to play because you never catch up and you have no lethality. I mean I trusted a lot of people when they said he was weak but I honestly didn't think it would be this bad, he might actually be worse than original Freddy and I use to main that guy back in the day.

You really outdid yourself bhrv, if this is your goal for how strong killers should be then I can't wait to see all the posts bitching about 40min que times because this is some next level dookie.

How many matches did you play him for?

One is one times too many.

Oh I agree he is quite weak but once learned he can end chases fairly quickly

I finally got up the nerve to try him and get his adept. I'm on ps5 and im pretty tired of the chain of non console friendly killers. He's by far the worst so far. First two matches I think I got one hook, then a couple I got 1 kill each, then a 3k with no adept, then finally got the adept on my sixth try. His power contributed to one down in all those matches, because it was already over so I forced it. The best strategy with him on console is mindgaming and normal hits. On a 110% killer. It was frigging miserable.

Only in the open where there is no LOS blockers, go to a rock run around it and there easy as that you nullify trickster power... He is a joke and the worst killer so far.

I’d argue Myers is worse in his current state but they are quite close

Well at least Myers have the 115% mov speed on T2 and instadown on T3, what kills Trickster more is his slow mov speed or his weak power, its a combo in truth, bad design power and wrong mov speed choice. But yeah Myers could get some changes too, he is outdated.

Literally every other killer can do it faster than he can, his power is no good in most conditions unless you are in the open, and a good survivor knows how to evade (not necessarily dodge) his blades to the best degree.

True but huntress can do it better. Thats this killers main issue lack of identity not once did i go "wow thats unique" when playing him. And i played him for a solid 3 hours

He's not the weakest killer and in some circumstances is actually really strong.

He's just very hard (seriously who thought giving him the easy rating was correct?) And the weaknesses that he has are dibilerating.

If you don't waste knives and hit most of them his lethality is actually really high. You can keep throwing knives at a just injured survivor and more often then not already be 3 to 4 out of 8 (or 7) knives closer to downing them.

Happen to get main event during a unhook and you can easilly get 2-3 healthstates out of it

That said reach a high wall loop or a curvy structure and he falls apart to the point where you just better of leaving and ambushing someone else.

He's not strong but if you play to his strenghts and don't allow survivors to exploit his weaknesses to much he's far from the worst.

On pc that is. On console he is straight up unplayable by design. Aim tracking just doesn't work on console

Very few maps don't have a high wall loop in easy reach.

You can also avoid most of his shots by doing a little wiggle as you run to get to a high wall loop

I have played him and i have the adept but he is literally the weakest killer in the game hands down.

It has been proven multiple times that Trickster just has a very high learning curve, learn how to play him before complaining, the right add-ons can make a massive difference in outdoor maps.

Oh yeah you wanna sight those sources hmm? Cause I'm pretty sure you just pulled that out of your ass. If you have nothing constructive to add to the conversation at least have a witty funny remark, otherwise you should keep things like that to yourself. "Proven multiple times" what a joke.

His adept is rediculously easy right now so that doesn't mean much.

The little wiggle survivors do shouldn't make you miss that much. That really just shows that he is the weakest killer in your hands rather then hands down.

Sorry but i disagree. Don't misunderstand he is not strong. But with killers like Myers and trapper around he is nowhere near weakest.

On pc that is. Console is non playable

I've had plenty of success with him. He's not hard to play and there are definitely some tactics you can use to mitigate any counterplay that might exist against him.

That's the thing though. On outdoor maps he's pretty ok. On an indoor map one might as well DC from the match. With say Huntress or Deathslinger on say Lery's one can at least get hits in, but with Trickster you still need those 7-8 hits in order to at least move the survivor down a state. Saying that the Trickster doesn't need further work when he still has quite a lot wrong with him is ignoring the core problems with him

    Core problems:

    • Main Event is still woefully underpowered and needs to let the killer save when to use it.
    • Getting behind cover or looping tall walls destroys Trickster as he is a 110 movement speed killer, forcing him to eat up more time than most other 110 movement speed killers.
