gen speed change suggestion
this is just a suggestion, most games are way to fast at high ranks, and some are too slow at low ranks, due to some immersive players who refuse to do gens
what if we increase the gen timer from 80 to 200 or more (some testing would need to be required)
BUT the gens will slowly become done by themselves kind of like how regressing a gen work just in reverse at maybe 1/4 the speed.
so if nobody works on a gen and the killer doesn't kick it. it would automatically be finished after 800 secs passes which lets face it is a very long time but not holding the game hostage long
killer kicks could pause the automatic work done on gens and no longer regress (to regress would need a perk like PoP)
ruin could get a change so that all gens do not auto progress
I get that the super immersed players would still make the game terrible but they do that anyway.

I think gen speed is fine, what makes it look like they are done too fast is maps and gen spread on these maps.
The larger the map the worse it gets

Gen speed is fine, and faster killers will have a horrible time any slower survivors will have a horrible time, gen speed is so good right now in my opinion, and there are many perks to change it up that slow down ,regress, ECT and some that speed up, block from regression, ect it's all up to how both sides play it

Devs refuse to change the gen speeds - think they're in a good spot (they're not, really).
Currently, you're more rewarded for doing 3 gens solo.
I think the gen speeds need to be agonizing for solo repairs; and encourage/force survivors to at least have to team up with one other person on the gen to get them done 'quickly'.
Go extreme - 120 seconds solo; jump to 60 seconds with 2, 45 with 30, 35 with 4 (not worth it).
Then - when a survivor dies and leaves 3 in the match, solo-repair time jumps down to 90 seconds.
2nd survivor down - solo 60 seconds, together 30 seconds.
singel survivor - solo 30 seconds.
But that's far too much work to implement and requires actually acknowledging that gen speeds and the current design of gen-rushing is a problem- so it will never happen.
