    I doubt they're gonna reintroduce non-respawning hooks for a simple reason :
    No mither/unbreakable now exist, and you need hook to pip, as killer.

    People would just sabotage and run in corners of the map like they used to do in the past (and possibly complain about being slugged, AGAIN, even if they're the one that looked for it by destroying hooks.)
