Undying WAS oppressive, perks like Ruin aren't meant to be up forever and it was quite often that survivors would need to cleanse Ruin multiple times combined with the fact that on killers like Blight, Nurse, Spirit, and other strong killers you would usually end up losing a match because you got unlucky with Ruin. Plus, it had absolutely no synergy with token based hex's which made them obsolete. Freddy is being nerfed for a good reason, he has many things in his kit, far more than most killers and none of it has any punishment for him. Look at Demogorgon, he's essentially a much weaker Freddy. Freddy has stronger anti loop as it allows him to spam snares on a loop without being slowed down while Demogorgon needs line of sight and even then can be juked on top of all that. Freddy can teleport to any generator and yeah, Demogorgon can teleport anywhere but it requires him to go over to that place, place down the portal, and then even after all that has a global audio cue, a visual cue, and his portals can be destroyed. I could go on and on but I'm not going to for time.
Mori's got nuked for a really good reason. Keys also need a nerf, but its not as simple as changing a singular number. They need an entire rework, addons included. Spirit prayer beads were quite possibly the most overpowered addon in DBD, the amount of free grabs you would get with this item and the complete lack of information on the survivor side made facing off against a prayer bead spirit to be a extremely tough match, usually ending up in a loss for them if they weren't coordinated enough.
Just because one side gets nerfed doesn't mean the other one also needs a nerf and vice versa. Sometimes one side will get nerfed or buffed more than another one, that's how balancing works. Remember that one period of time where survivors got infinites removed, Insta heals nerfed, and toolboxes nerfed? Those were heavy nerfs, but did you see the devs also compliment that change by destroying Killers as exchange for doing that? Did you see them make every Killer a 110 because they took out infinites? No, because that's not how balancing works.

1) I was giving EXAMPLES of things being nerfed on the killer side, because people were saying nothing was being done.
2) Undying was never oppressive to me. why? I took down EVERY totem I found. doesn't matter if ruin kept moving just meant I kept getting 1500 blood points PER cleanse for that! I don't call that very oppressive.... oh yea noed was nixed by totems being done, and we still got out and gens done with 3 or 4 survivors leaving the gates because we did what we are supposed to. It's oppressive if you don't do your SECONDARY objective which is TOTEMS but since doing bones is a chore and a waste of time.... lol
3) keys can easily be fixed: change hatch open time to 0 after a key is used. it closes RIGHT after the person with the key uses it. one variable changed just like moris and blamo it's been nerfed to the ground just like moris, BUT you can still get the Houdini achievement.
4) I never said that both sides have to be nerfed to make it equal, again I was giving examples of how the survivor complaints are acted upon much much much quicker than killer complaints. killers have been complaining about keys, gen speed, DS, BT and many many more things, it took 2 years for DS to be mildly changed to make it less oppressive against the killers. keys have been promised to be addressed for 3-4 years and yet they have done nothing and changing the hatch open time to 10 seconds doesn't change the issue with keys, survivors are still able to move the hatch and know where it will be and all get out in less than 5 seconds once the key is used.
5) infinites were never supposed to be in the game, if you relied on infinites you are not that good of a player. so stop crying about that, and how long were they in the game? 3.5 years? killers have been complaining about them for that length of time and suddenly it's "fixed" and it's an example how the killers are getting almost instant fixes to complaints? lol no it is not.

The devs need to cater to their majority. Survivors outnumber killers 4 to 1. The survivors are the ones that buy the cosmetics. They play swf. They bring in their friends. I know killers buy as well.
It's a business. In business you cater to your majority. If the games are easier for survivors they will stay longer and play more. If its too difficult they will leave and take their friends.
Killer ques are almost instant. Survivors can take up to 10 mins. They know people will still play killer, so they don't care. It shows a big imbalance when most people do not want to play killer cause it can be stressful and not much reward. If you win as killer you get salt from survivors. They feel entitled.
It's pretty bad. Me, I just deal with it. I will play regardless of the changes they make and they know this. Hence, why they don't care.
