Demo Should Be Able To Seal Portals
I think Demo should be able to seal portals of their choosing while standing on a portal, the same as you would do to teleport between portals. I think it should be this way specifically because making it so they can only seal portals they're standing atop would put them in a kind of Trapper situation, (by which I mean they'd have to waste time running somewhere out of the way just to get a part of their power back) and making it so they can seal any portal anytime anywhere would make it very easy to accidentally seal portals you actually want.
But what's the practicality of being able to close portals? Let's say you start out a match and put a portal in a corner of the map, maybe near a gen. That gen pops later on and now that portal is basically dead. You're never going to teleport to a portal with nothing important nearby! Survivors aren't likely to seal it either because they have no reason to be in that part of the map. This could easily be solved by going to one of your own portals, targeting the portal in the dead area, and selecting it to be sealed rather than teleported to.
It would also allow you to seal portals that you don't need, and that get in the way. I remember playing a match on Groaning Storehouse as Demo and placing three portals that happened to make a line across the map. Throughout the match I was teleporting from one end of the line to the other, disregarding the middle portal, and every time I thought to myself "I wish I could seal that third portal, I keep almost teleporting to it."
Everything is already there to code this in. Portals can already be sealed, and there's already a mechanic in place that allows Demo to interact with specific portals while standing on a portal. I don't even think you'd need new animations. I think that Demo's hatch closing animation could work well for this.
