Charlotte's collision being removed is another unnecessary nerf that lowers the Twins' skill ceiling
Despite not being mentioned in the patch notes, Charlotte now no longer has collision when controlling Victor. This means all bodyblocking plays with Charlotte are kaput - no bodyblocking tight corridors to slow survivor movement, no bodyblocking pallets and windows to punish survivors who try to loop the same tile, no protecting gens in rooms and 1-man gens from being worked on while controlling Victor... this removes a good deal of strategy behind Twins, and is arguably even more significant than the cooldown nerf. It's like if they removed Wraith's collision when cloaked, or removed Deathslinger's spear being able to go through small gaps.
I can live with the cooldown nerf. It's unnecessary and makes Victor sluggish and even less efficient to use, exacerbating their efficiency problem, but it's not the absolute end of the world. This, however, is ridiculous.
I don't know how inflated the Twins' kill rates are from their abysmally poor pickrate and Dowsey's 4K streaks, but artificially lowering their skill ceiling is just insulting. Now that slugging is nerfed with Victor, and bodyblocking is nerfed with Charlotte, the only untouched thing the Twins have is camping, the worst part of their entire kit and yet the one thing BHVR leaves as is. It's like they want you to camp, instead of trying anything creative - or, dare I say it, fun.
The only logical explanation I can think of as to why this was done, is that in some of the Coldwind map reworks (and Blood Lodge) they've decided to do the genius move of making the basement entrances as wide as the killer, and body-blockable. I don't need to explain why this was a poor decision - it's artificially creating a reason to nerf the Twins even more. I get they're not popular - that's why literally nobody noticed when the "buff" allowing Charlotte to turn when waking up had already been in the game for months - but frankly, Twins got nerfed worse than Freddy. At least Freddy still has his teleport and his snares still work basically as well as before.
In conclusion, please consider reverting this change. A killer who wants to bodyblock the basement is going to do so regardless of who they're playing - it's not a good excuse to cut off an entire aspect of the Twins' power.
Tl;dr: Collision change bad and unnecessary, please revert it, it lowers their skill ceiling.

What?! Please be a bug...
Literally no one plays twins except me and a few others, why nerf a killer(s) that has such a low pick-rate and no massive complaints.

shadow nerfs happen a lot without being mentioned. this is par for the course when they touch up killers

it was in PTR so i doubt it a bug since many people noticed it.

The easier solution would be to make any killer lose collission if they stand in a bodyblockable position for longer than 3 seconds. That way Charlotte bodyblocking the basement would be a non-issue.
But I guess since Charlotte is the only killer that can truly do this(other than maybe Spirit with her Husk or Scarred Hand Hag, but both of those are temporary), they just applied it to her.
I hope they'll change it back, having Charlotte block things like the killershack window while controlling Victor should perfectly fit her character. Just as Charlotte being able to bodyblock one of the exitgate levers.

They really just want no one to play this killer, that's how it feels. They were already the lowest played killer and now they've made them even less fun to play. They're just killing all skill cap and creativity available to them.

iirc, on the ptb the loss of collision didn't kick in until after 30 seconds. Not sure if that was changed from ptb.

Just because there aren’t daily threads posted on the forums doesn’t mean there isn’t an issue.

Its not like the school building has only 1 open door.. it always have two. So this change makes no sense. And Victor doesn't count as a bodyblock asset since he can be destroyed in 1 sec.

If it wasn't in the notes, it's a bug

Obviously... my point is that using charlotte to bodyblock one of the doors there and control victor to block the other door and do nothing is basically a bannable offense, holding the game hostage. So.. no one should be doing that in the first place therefore this nerf is pointless.

I'm glad the collision on Charlotte is gone when Victor is being used, too many players abused it. I was facing atleast one (usually more) Twin every game session, they were not low pick on ps4 crossplay off in red/purple ranks. In all my games against them I NEVER saw a Charlotte use body blocking in the ways forum members are claiming to block single gens, pallets, or windows. Instead I saw too many body blocking survivors in corners or body blocking hook areas like upstairs in Thompson house while chasing/downing/slugging players with Victor.

Are you actually arguing body blocking was a skillful play?
1 -
Yes. To use it profitably you have to get it pretty much perfect, because if you get it even slightly off the Survivor can slip past you, and if you're using it in chase then you don't have time to misposition.

Every killer has flaws. But twins? They don't need more nerfs/bugs to make them less-appealing to the players. It's almost like the devs want to get rid of them.

Good, awesome change
