Talking About Meta Things
Heyya, let's talk about meta a little.
I think the meta won't change because of how the game is right now. It's not a question of perks, of killers, it's a question of what are the tools you need in your build.
By "meta build", we're talking about builds serious SWF and solo would use. Let's look at the survivor side :
First perk is an exhaustion perk. Right now, Dead Hard and Sprint Burst are the best exhaustion perks. Second perk, you want to have a role in your team, this perk will define this : Prove Thyself (for gen efficiency) / Adrenaline (for late game anti momentum) / Unbreakable (anti slug) / brand new and improved Lucky Break (first chase time-waster). Some of the survivors would run more than one of these, taking a third perk slot, or even the fourth too. For those who didn't fill their slots, there are some situational / useful perks, as Spine Chill, or Iron Will. There were the super useful perks, granting all the tools a team would need.
Now there are Solo Queue survivors needing more specific builds, or you will compose your build more or less as I was describing above, or you'll compose as you like to play, and these are the +- unmeta builds, builds that I love to face as a killer, and that I love to use as a survivor :
- Fast vault build : Exh Perk / Spine Chill / Resilience / anything else.
- All-Seeing build : Exh Perk / Open-handed / Kindred or Bond / Window of Opportunity.
- Sprint Burst efficiency build : Sprint Burst / Fixated / Vigil / anything else. (Pebble is surprisingly good in this build, Iron Will too).
- Coop efficient build : Exh Perk / We'll make it / Prove Thyself / anything else.
These builds are making the game fun for me, what are your unmeta builds, and what do you think about the meta ?
