Twins Nerfs

This discussion has a single goal: To explain why the nerfs to The Twins don't fix their issues, are ineffective at solving what they were "aiming" to solve, and what could've been done to successfully impact Twins gameplay. I'm a Twins main (Disgusting, I know), and want to just explain why this is a problem.

At the current stage, the nerf to The Twins is just essentially punishing you for keeping survivors injured, trying to be efficient, and generally trying to snowball. The nerf feels incredibly disgusting to play as, and gives survivors far too much access to Victor, able to punish him for succeeding, for some reason. I can't figure out what the goal of the nerf here was besides an attempt to punish a snowballing killer for snowballing too well. The nerf just feels gross and weakens Victor too much for doing his job.

It seems their "goal" (Speculation) with this nerf was to encourage using Victor more for first strikes, but as it stands right now there's never a reason to. If you do, Victor can easily be held hostage, and allows for survivors to make far too much distance on you if they manage to take Victor to another tile. There's no reason you wouldn't just get the first hit then send out Victor to efficiently get the second down. There's nothing motivating you towards using Victor for first hits except the new punishments if you use him for downs, which is still bizarre as hell.

This nerf felt incredibly uninspired. Animations weren't even adjusted to match the new cooldown, it was a simple number change. The Twins' addons still remain as the absolute worst in the game, their best two addons being two commons (The Tiny Fingernail and Toy Sword), and could use a reasonable buff, but that's a discussion for later. The Twins aren't "fundamentally broken", at least to where they cannot be fixed. Nerfing the time it takes for Charlotte to regain Victor, perhaps from 5 to 10 or even 15 seconds would make it more punishing for missing Victor, or give more time to get someone who's being defended after Crushing Victor. Another effective nerf would be changing how Victor behaves around hooks. Right now, you can't run Victor to a hooked survivor and then go idle, however, for some reason, you can drop Victor next to a hook, and then hook someone there?? And Victor just stays?? Victor could honestly just be crushed and immediately die if he's idled within 16 meters of a hook. Victor shouldn't have that much pressure over a hook, no matter the scenario.

To boil down my argument: Current nerf punishes a snowball killer for snowballing effectively, it seems they are trying to encourage using Victor for initial hits, yet there's no reason to and it's actually a detriment if you do, Twins addons suck, and there are better nerfs out there for The Twins, namely Regrow time once Victor is Crushed, or Crush Victor automatically if he's too close to a survivor on the hook.

There's much better out there for The Twins, but at their current stage, they're completely gutted and feel like a completely new killer, and not in a good sense. This doesn't fix any problems people have with Twins, it's just uninspired. BHVR, please revert this, this isn't the way for Twins, this is just unplayable.
