I need help fixing a lag issue

I have no idea what the problem is, so I'll ask everyone else. I have the Windows 10 edition of Dead by Daylight, I don't own the game but I play it by using Xbox gamepass on my PC. The game runs smoothly on every screen until I actually get into a game, in which if I stand still then everything remains fine. Only once I move, my game just stops, 100 to 0 with one press of any of my movement keys. I had to spend 3 minutes waddling my way to a generator to see if I could work on it and the game ran smoothly the entire time I did the gen, even skill checks were fine. Only if I press w a s d (also tried F cause it works too for some reason) my game while burst into non existence.
