BBQ or lockers

Numerous times , a killer has found my exact spot after hooking. I'm familiar with more than 40m away and I know I have been less and they have found me immediately. No other aura perks like spies either. It happens when I enter a locker not rushed. Something isn't working right but I'm leaning towards BBQ.
