Can we have more for Pride Month?
Personally, I'm not a part of the LGBTQ+ community but I support it. But for this, we're basically just getting a charm. That's it?
Were also getting a Blood Hunt, but it's on mobile. What? Really? Why not just put it in the main game. I don't think we need a whole event for this but I think we could have gone a little bigger than a charm.
Maybe we could have gotten BP offerings or maybe confetti coming out of gens. Just something little like that. But I guess it is what it is.

Seriously, as a gay person who plays DBD, but doesn't watch streamers or anything, this event is a really big letdown. I personally don't care if companies do or don't feed into the whole pride month thing. But why share so much about it if all you really have for the players is a charm and mobile bloodhunt? I get that there might be lore in the future or something, but just do something interesting like a bloodhunt everyweekend or something idk.
Again, I'm indifferent to the inclusion of a pride event or anything but don't say you're proud of including LGBTQ+ people if you're just doing these tiny little things. Dead By Daylight is a horror game that has deep-rooted lore, use that, bring new characters to the realm who are more than just token gays or elaborate on existing ones. I don't like the idea of a lot of lore on characters, but if it's there, may as well make it more inclusive.
It just seems like odd execution. Like "Ooh look! It's pride month, here's a charm, mobile bloodhunt and.... characters in the distant future who might be not straight ;)"

I mean, I'd hope for a big BP event to coincide with the anniversary anyway, so there's that.
I think the Pride stuff is pretty good tbh. There's the charity stream, and support of LGBT+ streamers and content creators. They've gone about this the right way by actually supporting the LGBT+ community, rather than cashing in on content just to promote the game itself. It feels more authentic, and less corporate.
