Can we have a trans flag? Little bit of a story.
I uh. Don't know what I am, but that doesn't necessarily matter at the moment. But, a few months ago, I had a brother who was actually depressed for... God I don't know how long. But, every time we tried to talk to him, he'd just shut himself down, he drank a lot and was just so unhappy. Then, one day they told our mother, told her everything. They explained how their whole life they felt different and weird. An outsider, this feeling grew more and more and more to the point they were at the point of almost committing suicide. I.. kinda dark, I'm sorry. They went their whole life thinking and believing that they've wasted their life.
But, she told my mother that she believes she's a woman. My mother agreed, accepted, and loved her. So did my dad, my brother, grandmother, and I. We're happy for her, but not everyone else in my family or her friends accepted this. She was treated worse, but she's still happy.
I ask if we can have other charms other than the pride flag if that makes sense, I'm not trying to sound impatient, greedy, undeserving, or anything negative.
A lot of people are like my sister, and I was wondering if we can have other charms to support them as well.

Thank you for supporting your sister. I’d love a trans flag. There are definitely trans players, including me.

A lot of people deserve something positive, show everyone that we do care haha. I'm not trans, but for all killers and survivors I have a list of specific charms I use. They're favorite charms which had some story behind them. I would use the trans one for my sister, I wouldn't take it off. She's had it rough. A lot of people did.

I'd love, if one step at a time, we got more flags for representation. The trans flag would be a great addition to dbd and I hope they do make it soon, although I wouldnt rush them on it as we're making steps in the right direction. There is a certain one I'd like myself, although I'm not too open on it and I'm not sure if most people would recognise it and the flag (Unlike the LGBTQ+ flag and the Trans Flag).
Also I'm glad you support your sister and she deserves all the support in the world and I'm glad some of your family also reacted well to it ^^

Yeah haha. I don't mean to rush them, I was just hoping for some.. feedback. But, yeah. One step at a time.
Thank you, and she thanks you all as well

Trans is part of the lgbt flag though, we are all in this together.

We all stood together at stonewall and we stay together now.

I don't think I will ever understand how pixels in a video game means anything meaningful to any person who isn't completely absorbed in media. Like, this is nothing. The struggles are not real, nothing in fiction exists.
A flag not being in a game does not mean that one does not exist, this is a concerning mindset that gets promoted a lot. The fact that people get excited and think that a single line from a writer about non-binary people or some cosmetic in a single video game = "I exist" is concerning.
It says a lot on the level of self-worth and belief in oneself if a LGBT person ties their worth to a single character/object/cosmetic... in a single video game. Which is VERY worrisome, since it reflects a dangerously low level of self-worth which will not be changed via shout-outs. Perhaps instead of glorifying this, we should instead refer LGBT people who feel worthless and like they "don't exist" without a shout-out (cuz that's what this is) to a therapist or something that helps with self-worth instead?
Or am I secretly anti-LGBT for identifying the root of a major emotional issue and daring to ruin a source of dopamine for first-worlders who wanna show how "for the minorities" they are?

I just understand for a long time we have all stood together fighting for equal rights and trying to create a better world for those that come after us. The world already separates us so we come together as one which is what the lgbt community was originally created around, united we stand because divided we fall.

lgbt is for lesbian gays bisexual and trans so I don't see the point of trans flag

Is there any harm in more representation?

I said that representation is already here but I don't mind if devs are going to add this flag, this is their game, this is just a charm, but still I prefer a gay character than just a charm, maybe from 19th or 20th century to show how bad these times were for gays

The devs said they don’t want to include any (real life) religious content. And as far as I know they didn’t include any as of now, so your request is really not related to this topic at all.

There's been a lot of feedback with regards to the different flags that there could be, we have taken this feedback back to the team so they are aware that people really want more representation as well.
@Majestic_Herman I hope that things continue to improve for your sister and I think your story perfectly sums up how important representation is.

I'm really glad to hear this ^^
Just out of curiosity, will these other flags (if they're ever made) be released at random times or sometime around June similar to the charm we got recently?

That I don't know I'm afraid, there'll be discussion and look at when things can be released, there's a whole process to go through if/when they will be done - I can't guarantee anything I'm afraid.

That's fine, thanks for telling me anyways rather than not responding ^^

I doubt they won't do it.

I don't think that's the point of the rep we're getting.
It's to allow LGBT+ people to feel normal in a majority straight world where they were often left out of many things. To show people that we are in fact a part of this world and that our existence should be just a normal as anything else. Also, to show support for LGBT+ if maybe you aren't. By wearing it, you're showing that you believe these people are just as human as any of us, and should be treated with respect, kindness, and dignity, just like everyone else.
