Exhaustion Perks | Killer Perks

PROLOGUE
I had an idea a while back to add an exhaustion mechanic to killers, similar to how survivors have theirs own. Wanted to quickly share this and see where it goes, if anywhere at all. π
General Idea
The goal is to make major cool-down perks cause exhaustion to the killer, but the perk is much more powerful and convenient to use.
Killers can decide which perk will take priority over other exhaustion perks before and during the trial with select buttons; they can also deactivate / reactivate their exhaustion perks to pick when they want to use it unlike survivors.
Long Exhaustion Perks
Coup De Grace
Upon lunging, gain the following bonuses:
- 50% Increased Lunge Speed
- 50% Increased Lunge Duration
After lunging with Coup De Grace is active, become exhausted for 90/75/60
seconds.
Coup De Grace cannot be used while exhausted.
Dark Devotion
Attacking the Obsession will transfer your terror radius to the Obsession, making you undetectable, until you perform another offensive action.
After attacking a survivor while Dark Devotion is active, become exhausted for 90/75/60
seconds.
Dark Devotion cannot be used while exhausted.
Starstruck
While carrying a survivor, all survivors become exposed based on their distance to you up to a maximum of 60 seconds.
After hooking or releasing the carried survivor while Starstruck is active, become exhausted for 90/75/60
seconds.
Starstruck cannot be used while exhausted.
Short Exhaustion Perks
Territorial Imperative
Performing any of the following actions:
- Hooking a survivor
- Damaging a generator
- Damaging a pallet
- Breaking a wall
- Searching a locker
Will mark the location at where you performed that action at (you cannot see the marked location). There's no limit on how many locations can be marked.
Any survivor that comes within 8 meters to any marked location will have their aura revealed for 4 seconds followed by an audible warning.
After reading the survivor's aura while Territorial Imperative is active, become exhausted for 40/35/30
seconds.
Territorial Imperative cannot be used to read auras while exhausted.
EPLOGUE
Please leave me some feedback below, just know I could do this to a lot of perks but these should be enough to give an idea.
Remember, don't freak out, I don't calm to be perfect with ideas... So that's why I need more perspectives to make things work. I don't plan on wanting this to be added to the game, it's just something I thought would make cool-down perks less annoying to use and add more depth gameplay. π

Due to how most of these perks were bad anyway and aren't a fundamental part of every killer's kit, sure I can get by this
However, you didn't specify the distance for Starstruck. You also didn't say that it's linked to terror radius. How long is its new radius?

Who exactly can abuse that? I can only think of Nurse and even then, it's only for one hit every 60 seconds

The only one that'd be weird is the starstruck one but other then that it would certainly make those perks more fun

Interesting idea, but I'd prefer cooldowns over Exhaustion for Killers. Exhaustion was created for Survivors because the perks that cause it would make them impossible to catch if it were a simple cooldown (not to mention, stacking sprinting perks). Plus, it doesn't really seem fitting that the monstrous Killer gets too tired to use its power (ahem, Legion).
The Territorial Imperative idea is really cool though. There's also a typo in Dark Devotion where it says Coup De Grace instead.

It does give a reason to create exceptionally powerful perks while simply making it so you can't use multiple instances of them at once

Hexes and obsession perks fit that criteria better than Exhaustion if I'm being honest.

Obsession perks are targeted at either ignoring or focusing the Obsession to gain a powerful effect. Killer exhaustion gives you a powerful effect, but has a shared cool-down with other exhaustion perks so that it's not overwhelming! π
