I don’t understand your argument of what you consider “viable”.
By your own definition they could legit insert a 115 killer with no power, and he’d be considered viable because you can stomp bad survivors?

The only time he’s good is when you got a short wall loop, other than that he gets clapped in every other loop.

There's a difference between being bad and being mediocre. Most survivors aren't rank 21 bad, but they aren't good either. So no. Killers that cant win an AVERAGE game aren't viable. However, Trickster can win average games.

I have, i've tried everything, nothing helps Trickster. Survivors just keep looping or Gen rushing because they know Trickster is the easiest to get away from right now, its like they're farming only the killer isn't part of it
And i don't appreciate you saying 'get good' when thats often used as an insult to players doing badly.
I'm a decent killer with others, but Trickster is not in a good place right now. Everyone has bad matches some time, Trickster gets them more because its underpowered. Its slow, its knife throws are inaccurate (meaning you try to throw at the middle, but it just goes left or right) and main event is hardly useful.
If a killer is only good because of what map they're on and is only good against low rank survivors, then its in desperate need of a change

Good aim can be downplayed by transitional kiting and weaving in line of sight breaking loops.
The house in Bedham, I looped the trickster for at least a minute to be injured.
Huntress in the other hand can probably injure me or even possibly down me in less than that with equal aimming skill.
If he used that addon that reduces the amount to injure to 6 maybe he could of ended the house loop earlier.
It’s his only real “useful” addon he has.

Someone who is good at Trickster show me how to use him. Because every time I go against decent survivors I get walked around the map too much unless I just prioritize m1 which at that point I should play a different killer. I'm not given enough time to build up his knives laceration meter even if I am hitting them because a lot of maps they can break LOS way too much. Power is entirely dependent on survivors making very heavy mistakes.

Ok, i'm not sure if it was a fluke, trash survivors, or that we were on Rotten Fields, but i got a 4k with Trickster. Two survivors were red rank, the other two were 18 and 11

I guess it is easier to win with her than other characters seeing how she avoids everything survivors do(loops, pallets,etc.)

True. But I find her more fun than other killers because of her unique playstyle. I like hag for the same reason, although I don't like her outfits and overall look as much as I do with Nurse.
I love the elegance of Nurse. I just like that theme in general. It's why my only hag outfit is queen of the mire.
I also enjoy chases more than anything else on both sides, which is why I like Oni, Huntress, Blight, and Demogorgon.
All of these contribute to why I love Nurse. Contrary to popular belief, I don't play her as an easy win.

No #########. Just because he's viable doesn't make him fun to play.
Not to mention the fact that he's just a manga ripoff. They could've at LEAST contacted Tite Kubo and get Ulquiorra, As Nodt, or Gin Ichimaru in here instead. Even if they weren't strong, I'd have a blast stomping survivors with Lanza del Ramlampago, fear thorns, which could've been a REALLY interesting mechanic, or Kamishini no Yari, which would be an interesting variant to ranged killers. A manga character had so much potential if they had it licenced, but no. They just HAD to go for the dumbass Kpop idol. I'm still mad about this.

I'm glad you feel the same way, but most of the community thinks otherwise.
They try to stick to the 5 years old way of thinking that this is a horror game, and say that manga characters don't belong. However, this game is not horror anymore, and a manga killer would be really refreshing from all of the popular horror killers. Anyways, they say that Trickster was the only manga character that should ever be added, and the devs will likely listen. That's why I'm mad about Trickster. He's likely going to be the only manga killer, meaning that he's quite literally just wasted potential.

Against potato survivors hes an ok killer I have more fun with slinger though. Hes not viable at the top level though. But playing trickster is like going through the 5 stages of grief. You are in denial when people tell you hes a terrible killer, once you start seeing his power is weak against survivors you start showing anger, then you bargain with the dbd gods to give you a win and you'll be the nicest killer on your next match, then once you get looped and t bagged flash light clicked you start getting depressed and finally acceptance thats he is bad lmao.

What would be cool is if you could throw knives at pallets or windows and they stick, so if i survivor touches them, it adds to their...knife meter thing...sorry, i forgot the name, Laceration or something. It'll be like interacting with something covered with glass shards

Trickster isn't perfect but he's a bit better than people give him credit. To anyone that is interested in Trickster please check out Raging_Ryuga's Trickster Guide. It will definetly shed a new light on the killer.

You know there was a time where I thought the longer we play Trickster the better he would be but I just feel wrong about that.
Lately I feel like survivors really know how to loop him and the games I do win just kind of more feel like the survivors messed up than me winning with my skill.
