How to make DS more balanced
This perk is designed to punish tunnelers so why not improve it and make it more fair for killers that actually play normally?
After being unhooked or unhooking yourself, Decisive Strike activates for the next 60/70/80 seconds:
- When being grabbed or picked up by the Killer, succeed a Skill Check to automatically escape their grasp, stunning them for 5 seconds.
- Successfully stunning the Killer will disable Decisive Strike and result in you becoming the Obsession.
- Being in chase will cause DS timer to stop (unless u are in locker)
While Decisive Strike is active, the following interactions will deactivate it:
- Repairing a Generator
- Healing yourself or other Survivors
- Cleansing a Totem
- Sabotaging a Hook
- Unhooking other Survivors.
- When killer hooks other survivour. If survivour with activated Decisive Strike is downed, after hooking other survivour, perk will be still activated .

They could just make it unlimited duration, double use and deactivate on a full heal, save, or entering a locker as well as it's current conditions (because if it's unlimited duration you have no reason to enter a locker while the killer is near).

The game should somehow punish those who abuse the perk solely to bait the Killer. People still do this, unfortunately.

One thing I don´t understand abut the DS. Can it be activated just one time per game?? I have started recently to take DS as perk, because of the tunneler killers.

The timer should never be paused while in the dying state. All it will do it force killers to leave survivors slugged on the ground and then survivors will start complaining that they keep getting slugged to death.

I never thought about that. Maybe it is not the greatest idea. I will fix that

I was confused because reading the perk description I couldn´t guess how many times it could be activated.
There was one game where one where killer was tunneling me hard. I failed my DS. Went to hook, Inmediately farmed by a teammate, and dead.
I was expecting the DS animation but it didn´t happen of course.
In my oppinion, tunnelers are gonna tunnel every time they can. A second chance of DS would be nice in my oppinion to make tunneling harder for killers.
