Why is there such a divide/hatred between Killer and Survivor players?
Like seriously, it's a video game, half the posts I see are "I bet x main wouldn't like this change since they don't play it" etc etc and it's so annoying, it's literally pixels on a screen and people are acting like one side shouldn't be allowed to discuss things because "they wouldn't understand." It seems people don't get that both sides are fighting each other in a PvP game and that a change for one side directly effects the other side.

I think because of it being a PvP game and a lot of players do not play both sides and have a natural bias to one side over the other.

I mean it makes sense to some degree, I expect their to be competition. but there's a lot of people who are just downright rude to the other side as if it's a bad thing to play one of the sides in the game lol

All PVP games have people on both sides of the fence.... but most of us that have been playing a long time play both sides... so I think you misunderstand the community.

yeah I don't think it's totally true for either side but is somewhat true in some scenarios, but both sides act as if they are super opressed and weak in different forum posts lol

I think, for the most part its just people that only play one side.
When you don't understand how the other side works its easy to make assumptions about the gameplay and players.

Everyone gets competitive its a PvP multiplayer after all. We may get triggered I'm guilty of that as a Killer Main, It's ok competition is good it's healthy. However it's unhealthy when we attack or slander others for their opinions or play style, we need to get a grip and realize it's just a game have fun peeps.

Pretty sure there is, been playing since 2017 and the toxicity between the sides has only gotten worse.
