Do Legendary Cosmetics change the Survivors character portaits?

If I were to buy the Chris Redfield skin, would that replace the portrait of Leon in the survivor menu? I'm not talking about the portrait of the in-game UI, but in the lobby where you would select which survivor you want to play.

    I don't think they affect the menu portraits.

    They do, at least they're supposed to.

    I've seen a chris with a Leon Portrait, although maybe that's a one off bug. Claire works fine. Even if it's bugged I'm sure it'll be fixed by the next update
