Bite the bullet is not working as intended

I have 0 idea what happened but when i was using self care and mending legion wound my friend bite the bullet triggered and silenced me at a distance of 20 meter away from him doing a gen
I sadly cant give any step as i havr no idea how it happpened and after getting tunneled its not like i can even try self caring
1.The map was red forest / mother dwelling
2. My chara was tapp with the full suit cop skin with sunglasses
3. My perk where self care / detective hunch/ lucky break
4. Killer was legion
