Remove the crows please

I think its ridiculous that as a survivor, you get crows above your head when you are standing or lying in one place. DBD developers say that camping and standing still in one spot is a viable strategy. Then this should be for survivors as well. You cant have it both ways.

If I, as a survivor, want a camping killer to deny his hooking points, i should be allowed to crawl to a corner where i have the most chance to escape his grasp. But instead, i get crows above my head letting the killer know exactly where i am when in dying state. Killers already have a perk for that, called deerstalker. IF they dont equip, dont equip it for them in the form of crows.

The survivors already have well enough going for them that we don't need to remove Crows.

You could also run no mither or Unbreakable if you don't wanna be stuck on the ground, using your own "There's a perk for that" argument.

I never said i didnt want to be stuck on the ground. When the killer is playing toxic (camping and slugging) without survivors giving cause for it, id like to return the favor and be toxic at the end too to deny them their kill. But while camping is allowedd for killers, it isnt apprently allowed for survivors to do the same.
If i want to be still in one spot, just like a killer can be, then i should be allowed that as a survior too without crows above my head. After all? staying in one spot is a valid strategy according to killers and devs, then it should also be a valid strategy for survivors.

This is also an Asymmetric game though. 4 survivors, 1 killer.

If the Killer camps a survivor, go do Gens. Open the doors, and escape. He gets his one kill and probably de-pips in the end.

Every lobby I join as Survivor, I make sure everyone knows to signal if they get camped, and if there is a signal, go do Gens. If works. Camping gets one kill against a decent group.

They are afk crows. If you haven’t done anything for a while, you hinder all other survivors. The killer, when camping, has no allies to hinder. Afk crows exist to keep the game moving.

there is a difference between a camping killer and a survivor holding the game hostage, ehich is the main reason this crows got implemented btw. as a survivor you could literally force the killer to dc just by standing in this one locker and refusing to leave. this is why crows will start flying over your head and reveal your position, so the game wont take 1 hour just because the killer has to spend 45 minutes searching every corner and locker there is.
this mechanic also does not punish you, as long as you are playing the game. if you literally stand still for a long periode of time, its obvious that your not even playing at that point, so why not reveal your position and remove you from the game if your not even playing?

Lore wise it's a punishment from the entity for giving up, they are his spies. Besides if you want to deny the kill just keep moving. Staying still just so killer can't get you is taking the match hostage if your not bleeding out. Why feed toxic intent by removing a tool in place to stop it?

Its allowed for killers to stand still and take the game hostage too. they stand still so you cant get the survivor off the hook, or you die for it. To me thats the same.

That mechanic was implemented to fight survivors who hide and take the game hostage.

I agree with OP. Replace crows with eagles.

The Survivor will die, eventually. That's not holding the game hostage. You don't need to rescue that Survivor for the game to end.
