Do bones(16 perk slots vs 4)... this is coming from a killer main😁
3 -
Wow, human connection! First time I've seen that here in a while.

Omg 😂😂😂😂

Coming from someone who mostly plays survivor, I think Noed is fine. It’s a situational perk that only actives if survivors finish all gens and the perk can even be prevented by cleanse totems.
0 -
I thought my response was pretty reasonable. As long as exhaustion perks exist which artificially extend chases, then noed is valid in its current for.
0 -
Oh I actually didnt saw your response, was my bad sry about that. Kinda hard to keep track of all answers beeing 95% of it just memes or triggered killer mains. You are right even though I think noed is still abit stronger then exhaustion perks imo.
1 -
Not really, let me explain.
Lets say the average chase to hit is 15 seconds.
So normal interaction is find survivor chase begins, 15 seconds till hit, 15 seconds to catch back up after hit, 15 seconds to hit. 45 seconds.
Add in dead hard. 15 seconds to get first hit, 15 seconds to catch back up, 15 seconds to get rid of dead hard, 15 seconds for 2nd hit. 1 minute.
SB: Find survivor and chase, about 10 seconds to catch up or so, 15 seconds to first hit, 15 seconds to catch up, 15 seconds to 2nd hit. 55 seconds (we can assume lithe is about the same).
Now with NOED: 15 seconds to first hit.
You see its just the inverse of what it happening with exhaustation perks. Exhaustion perks extend the chases about 15 seconds, noed reduces it about 15 seconds.
The difference is, i cant permanently disable exhaustion perks by cleansing a totem. Theres also 4 different survivors each with an exhaustion perk. 4 chases with dead hard and 4 minutes have gone by so at least 3 gens are done, probably more. Assume you chase each survivor twice before the last gen pops. Thats an extra 2 minutes of chase time you wouldnt have had to deal with, 1 survivor can do an entire gen in 2 minutes, 3 can do 3. Thats incredibly powerful. Noed on the otherhand only applies after the last gen pops. Lets assume you chase all 4 survivors. You shaved 1 minute of chase time off. Which is the inverse of chasing all 4 survivors once where 1 minute gets added.

DS wasn't nerfed. It was balanced to what it should have been from the get-go. NOED should be reduced to something a bit fairer. Just make the NOED show it's aura for 5 seconds after activation once someone goes down from the first NOED hit so survivors can choose to go for it or get out instead of trying to find it and getting downed once they realize the NOED is next to the hooked survivor with the killer beside him/her.

Agreed
0 -
Survivors have second chance perks they can use the whole match and can always be used. NOED can only be used at the end of a match, and it can be completely removed even before it is activated.
2 -
You're still thinking that cleansing is not your objective lol. If you really have no time to cleansing this means killer is doing fine job about putting pressure on you and he saves his totems and precious time. If he got noed, that won't gonna be something you can complain like "it doesnt require any skill" because he already showed his skill or way to punish survivors mistakes with putting you guys on a so much pressure that you even can't cleanse a totem or totems. LOL. This is what i'm pointing. Grew up and stop crying about perks, items, add-ons people.

You dont even need to do 5 totems, i agree sometimes its a waste of precious time. You can memorize their locations and check in the end game when you see killer has noed. Other counters to NOED are: stealth and just awareness that the killer MIGHT have it, and playing accordingly to it. I dont understand how people still have problems with this perk. Usually against a good team Noed = 1 down maximum. A down that the killer would still get anyway if he is chasing someone. Only in rare scenarios noed can give more value and they usually happens because of survivors greed.

You must have never seen/experienced a match where survivors break all 2 or 3 hex totems you have within the first 2 minutes of a match, and also end up finding out that they have 0 hex hunting perks.
Also, if people just started realizing totem hunting actually has value to it, and maybe started bringing totem hunting perks more regularly, hex perks would be even less of a threat. Can't tell you how many times I have gotten all of the totems broken and escaped. Not as many, but still some, games were even against a killer that had NOED and I denied them their perk. Yeah, it might take some extra time, but gens can fly in mere minutes if the killer isn't pressuring anyway.
3 -
Nah, it's fine. Good insensitive to cleanse and the time window only lasts until found or a gate opens (20s)
1 -
Hey, at least now DS punishes survivors for playing the game when the killer chooses to tunnel them! Cheer up.
0 -
I love how controversial NOED is. Its not even a good ######### perk, so who the ######### doesn't want it changed? 2k facecampers and tunnellers?
Please, make it an earned perk and buff the crap out of it. Instadowns when the gates are powered is worth nothing but a free kill. Its like ######### Insidious.

I agree with you, typicly you can do totems here and there. And in a game where the Killer is not pressuring then you can do the totems and wont need to worry. But there are some games where the Killer has so much pressure where you cant do totems meanwhile. Cuz there is always someone on a hook, you are getting chased, etc etc. There are some games where you dont have simply time to do totems in the midgame. In a game where the Killer is not having much pressure there I wouldnt complain about noed, I complain however about the moment when a spirit with stridor has so much pressure, every time atleast 1 survivor on the hook and chasing someone and THEN you also get the noed once you managed somehow with a blessing of jesus to finish the gens with alot of hard work and sacrifices. That is the moment when I say, okey noed is completly bullshit.
0 -
No, you can´t. But your team can.
0 -
Oh i do it. With 3 hex detection perks, i´ll know all the new totem spots on the new map in no time. From there its just a walk in the park.
1 -
Unless they dont :)
0 -
Then we're back at the lazy team point.
2 -
yes, since you cant change ppl's gameplay just simply add a slight adjustment to the perk.
0 -
4 survivors = 16 perks.
Multiple same instances of Ds / Unbreakable = 8. 2 for each survivor.
Yer clearly in the wrong for saying that survivor doesn't have that Heavy of a impact with second chance,
Cope De Grace is FAAAAR from even close.
It belongs in a Meme tier. that is all,
0 -
I said it is in COMPARISON not that impactful AS FOR KILLERS jeez mind if you maybe read more carefully?
And Cope de Grace is a pretty decent perk, only because perks that are not busted or meta doesnt mean they are useless, maybe open up your mind abit.
0 -
If you dislike NOED so much maybe run the perk Small Game and you know cleanse the totems?
1 -
I am running Detectives Hunch since I prefer that perk, but ye I am already doing that einstein.
0 -
Anyone who uses the term, in any fashion "I'm a killer main" is full of #########, sorry bro but the only people who think noed needs to be nerfed are rank 15 survivor mains who have absolutely no idea how to play. Newer killers should absolutely get a second chance with how busted matchmaking is, you and your lot can stack literally 4 second chances EACH, let the new killers have their ONE.
2 -
What will Cope De Grace save me?
First. let me list you the Good..
"Increased Lunge up to 60%"
...Thats it. That's ALL this perk does.
Bad sides about this perk
You can only get this perk to work IF survivors do gens.
Can waste a token accidentally if you're mid lunge while a gen pops.
You only get 5 tokens. I.E Which you can only get if THEY do Gens.
It got Nerfed for ZERO reason,
Half the time. the Extra lunge isn't needed to hit said survivor,
I can list waaay more with how bad this perk is..
0 -
Didnt know that deception, head on, detectives hunch and iron will are second chance perks lul
0 -
No but deliverence, unbreakable, DS, dead hard, literally all exhaustion perks, soul guard, etc. Those are second chances.
0 -
Idk what kind of games you have where survivors dont do gens but in that case you dont even need any perks since there is no game progression for them. Secondly, a bigger lunge means alot, on Killers like Wraith, Oni, Myers, Ghostface or Plague this perk can carry you pretty hard. I am too lazy to explain you how that perk works since you seem the type of guy that just watches a quick 10min guide and equipes every perk that video tells you without even questioning it. sry

By your logic, if some Deathslinger players don't want to aim at survivors, he should be buffed to automatically aim at survivors and have perfect accuracy.
3 -
Seriously?
I played this game for a VERY Long time..
7k+ and counting. I stream this game every Mon-fri
I can LITERALLY guide you on what perks are best for said killers, off the bat. teach you how to be Effective,
Hell. even to mindgame better, And i can CLEARLY tell you. Coup De Grace is still. a M tier perk. for Meme,
0 -
No that logic is applied already to many other things like DS. Ppl abused the hell out of DS and got free gen progress. So the nerf came in and now ppl are forced to use DS how it is supposed to be. Same goes for God windows, they werent that OP if just 1 survivors used it, but ppl started to realize how strong it can be so everyone ran all the time to it to abuse it, thats why devs nerfed them and now ppl cant abuse them.
Not saying that noed is beeing abused but it is not getting used as a help for "new" killers, it is used to get some ez kills without effort for players that have hundreds of hours.
0 -
what
0 -
Either way you where literally afk for the most of your gametime or you are just trolling, cant really tell the difference but good one mate.
0 -
Uhh Devour Hope??? Makes no sense to ignore it once they reach 3 hook states because the game becomes 100% more difficult at that point.
0 -
If you're not saying NOED is being abused, then why draw a parallel with something that was nerfed because it was being abused as justification for why NOED should be nerfed? Seems weird to me.
Anyway, NOED has been nerfed multiple times. It became the first Hex that can be prevented from being activated altogether, which is just insane. All survivors have to do is hold M1 for a few seconds and they even get 1000 BP for their "effort".
0 -
Survivors just have to adapt. Like killers always had to.
But it's easier to just ask for changes instead.
2 -
If the killer has NOED, active, then there was probably enough time to do totems, as the survivors would have had to complete all generators.
Anyway, probably won't be getting a response from me. As fun as it is discussing things with actual cool people, being under the eye of such tyrannical authority isn't my cup of tea. So no response from me probably, I'm out while my account is still intact lol
1 -
Mate.
https://www.twitch.tv/verconn/clip/OriginalWanderingGalagoMikeHogu Talk to me when you wanna be nice,
And talk to me when you can out-perform my slinger.
1 -
Exactly just the same what happened to poor old Legion :C
0 -
Dont really know what you mean but anyway see ya then have a good one!
0 -
I drew a paralllel to it cuz these mentioned things also wherent completly op or busted but still annoying at a certain degree and got changed in a very healthy way.
You are right noed got nerfed back then, so what? Same as Mori, it got nerfed twice, same as Pallets with vacuum, there are many things that need more then just 1 change. Thats the circle of life my friend, everything can change constantly.
0 -
bruh 😂😂
0 -
As a solo survivor main: Bones are not that hard to do, and not even hard to find, even without perks. There are 2 maps where they can really hurt you if they got a good totem placement, but mostly, its no problem. Survivors just dont want to invest time to do them, even if you see them just running in circles in the basement and pointing at each other instead.
0 -
Whatever your justification, the way I applied your logic works.
One side refuses to deal with a pretty basic game mechanic, so that mechanic must get nerfed, to the other side's disadvantage. That's your logic with NOED.
So killers should refuse to break pallets to have them break themselves, they should refuse to aim so aiming is made easier, and so on.
1 -
yes exactly, sadly this is not just my logic, look at old Legion :)
0 -
You're the one advocating for something based on that logic. Whether you came up with it or not, you are using it, so it's still your logic.
0 -
never claimed it is not mine I said it is not JUST my logic. I am not the only person who does that, infact the devs themselves are using it.
