Bloodpoints are unfair
Why can killers gets a boatload of bloodpoints for playing like a douche but survivors can only get points if killers play in a nice and friendly manner? What is the point of survivors having options such as party streamers when it directly causes the killer to deny them? Every time there is more than one party streamer it is a large neon sign to the killer to slug everyone, camp, tunnel, etc. Just finished a match where the killer saw these offerings and he put on his mad angry cap and he actually got 26K and survivors about 5K-10K each. This is wrong. Bloodpoints should re-evaluated. Perhaps bloodpoints should be removed from the killer when they play in such a way so it promotes gameplay.

Are you being serious right now?

Sluzzy, that is not your best.
1/10 for your this post. You know you can do better than this one.

Not exactly wrong, tbh.

Sluzzy, how would you program something to determine these unfun styles of gameplay? Would there be a strike system? You hit someone x seconds after unhook and you get a strike? If someone is slugged x seconds you get a strike? If you're around hook x seconds you get a strike? After so many strikes you lose your right to the BP from that game?
I think this is perfectly reasonable and has no flaws tbh. Killers simply shouldn't be able to unlock perks and addons imo

Nah, i´ve seen 5 party streamers during a double bloodpoint event and the survivors gen rushed to escape with 11k to 14k basepoints.
20 -
Yes, killer decides if survivors get points and its not really fair.
5 -
Would you also consider removing bloodpoints when survivors just gen rush?
19 -
Everything is killers fault in your post. You could just ask for more BP for survivors and I would agree, but you just want killer to get less
21 -
My god, even on topic that I mostly agree with you (that survivor BPs are lower then they should be), you'd rather punish killer's BP earnings insted of raising survivor's BP values which is the correct way to do it.
Why do you always have to turn in into "nerf anything that killers have" insted of thinking about a proper way to adress the problem.
I just with you could stop with the unwarranted killer hate.

Doing gens, looping killer, cleansing totem, saving teammates, healing teammates, searching chest, blinding killers etc.
How exactly killer decides?
5 -
- Killer is a role that is playable for anyone that buys the game, if you want dem bp so much, play killer
- the population of the game is mostly survivor, having some incentive to play the least popular role of the two is good
- Killer is a solo role so they tackle everything alone, survivor have 3 teammates to share task with.
"scummy" plays actually give less BP , you want to 2 hook everyone to get the most bp as possible

Hi Slozzy, it's good to see you again.
Anyway, it's true. Killers are the upper class & the survivors are the middle & lower class.
As such we must advocate for an increase in minimum wage for survivors to an increase of a guaranteed & livable wage of 15, 000 bloodpoints per game.
5 -
Survivor bloodpoints are fine thought. Decent survivors can earn as much if not more than the killer.
3 -
Yes but who really cares is the increased them a bit. Good game for survivors earns about as much as for good game for killer but usually survivors have harder time getting a game where they do everything so that they can come out with even as much as 32k.
I would only welcome any change that earn players more BP, imo survivors could use a bit more then they have right now.

I've had good luck with the BP system don't think there's too big an issue.

Every single anniversary event...
14 -
Sigh.
Okay. Don't survivors decide if killers get bloodpoints? If they hide the entire game, never get found and finish all the gens, does the killer get blood points?
If a killer camps, then he isn't giving points unless you feed it to him. If he tunneled and slugged and you guys got mollywhopped without being able to get points, then how exactly did he get 26k bp? That means he got an average of 6k in each category. Were you hook diving? Trying to WGLF to get yourself more points? Tut tut.
5 -
32k games are rare things. Even for killers these days.
2 -
So... 6 players?
3 -
And survivors decide if killers get BP. Isn't that crazy how a game where people compete against each other also depend on each other to get points?
If one side plays better, the other side gets less BP... That's just how it works... If the survivors rush generators, the killer won't have a lot of BP either, if survivors deny the killer hooks, then the killer won't be getting any hooking points, hell if survivors decide to AFK all game, the killer will also get less BP...
Now if your whole point is that the BP system is absolute garbage and people get way too few BP for each round (especially when we look at the messy bloodweb system that requires you to spend all your BP on useless stuff you're never going to use), then I agree. But that applies to both killers and survivors.
4 -
I do slightly agree, it is much harder to get blood points as survivor, but that is not the killers fault.
2 -
Survivors will always get less BP unless Queue times change
1 -
Points are removed the longer someone is slugged, camped. Trying to finish the match too fast can all take away points.
3 -
Or even better yet, as the killer, you throw in BPS or a Cake and the same thing happens.
Trying to prestige survivors before the Anniversary Event, I played a killer round recently and made the mistake of offering up a Gauteau Cake I had left over from last year's event. My "reward" was 5 gens done in about 6 minutes, with three Commodius Toolboxes with BNP's and a map offering as my reward from a 4-person SWF. Best yet, there were teabags galore and macro-clicking of flashlights in the exit for further taunting. It reminds me of why I stopped bringing BPS or Cakes anymore when I play killer -- they always seems to bring out the worst in your opponents, no matter what side you're on.
I did have a match not that long ago as Pig where I brought BPS and 3 of the 4 survivors did as well -- everyone approached to Boop, and we all racked up monster totals in a huge farrmfest -- but that's the rare exception. To act like BP are an issue from just the killer side is, as usual, part of certain people's song-and-dance that's beyond tiresome at this point.
Already I know people I SWF with who play killer only to try and farm BP for their survivors and/or to do Dailies. Start messing with that balance, and you'll end up wirh even fewer people wanting to go through the trouble of playing killer and longer wait times for matches.

Why not give more Bloodpoints to survivors?
5 -
You should watch ZubatLEL's (who plays a TON of survivor, so you can't label him as a typical killer main) latest video. He played Myers against a ream that brought in 3 BPS. He popped his first Tier 3, downed someone, and everyone else literally played as badly as you could in that situation and ran at him. He downed everyone, hooked everyone (and rehooked after a kobe), and ended up giving the last survivor hatch. Match lasted barely over three minutes.
So in your "expert" opinion, what should he have done? As he told his chat, everyone just ran towards him while he was in Tier 3 and died, which he correct;y pointed out wasn't his problem. The survivors did exactly what you're not supposed to do in that situation and threw the game as a result -- should he have run to the corner of the map to let everyone recover (undeservedly) solely because of the BPS? Do you really think that the survivors, if they'd instead popped 3 gens before he'd gotten into Tier 3 and gotten a down, would have let their foot off of the gas to benefit their opponent?

It helps when survivors dont suicide on first hook. Def get more blood points that way. Its rare i dont pull in 20k as a survivor.

No thanks. As a solo survivor, I'm tired of being left slugged as is. If survivors know they can punish the killer by doing it, I'll be left to bleed out constantly. I hate solo queue, let's not make it worse.
Your ideas are bad. Things should be made better, not worse. What you're describing is making things worse for one side, and pretty much everyone who plays this game knows making things worse for one side won't make it better for the other side, it just means both sides will suffer together. That's not a solution, it's just more vindictiveness from the playerbase.
The whole BP system is borked. The Bloodweb is too expensive and no one earns enough Bloodpoints per mach. The reward system and the grind need an overhaul in general.
5 -
They don't, if a killer plays "scummy" then the killer will only get up to 15000 bloodpoints.
1 -
I can deal. I mean People don't get bp in my games anyway because of the build I run.
0 -
The killer getting stuck in the environment because of a bug, probably?
0 -
Oh yeah good point XD
0 -
The only thing I can agree with is if a survivor brings bps or cakes. Then yes from my experience 9/10 the killer will outright deny you any of it and go full sweat. Exactly why I stopped bringing those. If I'm not gonna get anything from them then why bother?
5 -
I would agree with you except you said killers should recieve less bloodpoints.Killers shouldn't recieve less survivors should recieve more. having killers recieve less would make the grind so much worse
1 -
You really need to get good at the game and at your baits.
2 -
At this point the offerings should be used after a match. So people can decide if its worth using BPS or a Cake or something instead of using one and feel like its wasted.
I really wouldn´t mind using BPS after a good match. So everyone can benefit from it.
7 -
That would actually be awesome. Tunneled and face-camped me out of the game out the gate? No BPS/Cake for you! Teabagged me at every pallet and flashlight/locker/vault spammed every opportunity to taunt me? No BPS/Cake for you! A really fun, competitive match, no matter whether I "won" or "lost"? BPS and Cakes for everyone!
4 -
That is actually a good idea. What about the prop system to give someone double-bp?
3 -
I ... I ... agree with you?
I have never understood what function the prop system is supposed to have. That would be a nice way to utilize it. 👍️
3 -
are we talking only bp offerings?
1 -
Great idea!!!
2 -
Just curious, what is this so called "gen rush"?
0 -
I love this idea. It'd also be nice to be able to choose the Tome Challenge to put progress towards after the match.
2 -
I agree. I see matches where I’ll get 17k and killer has 32k. I’m last to die and killer camped and tunneled off hooks or bbq bounced from one down to another and then has Noed lol. It’s busted.
2 -
Also trolling as a survivor is sad. Do you have any outside hobbies or a job you could put this energy into? God bless.

Thank you Sluzzy, that ones going right on the fridge :)
1 -
This I can agree with. As much as I dislike killers I do not feel they should get punished.
3 -
We saw eye to eye :)
It would help with the grind as well!!

I couldn't remember a meme format with only five T_T
