Back Waterswamp Picking up Survivors

I was playing plague, running dark devotion, infectious fright, no one escapes death and bitter murmur
I downed a survivor outside of killer shack at the start of the game and I wasn't able to pick them up, I thought it was really weird that I couldn't pick them up just because they were next to the wall, but again, at the end of the game, I downed a survivor next to killer shack and again, I couldn't pick them up until they moved a little bit away from the wall; so basically you cannot pick people up next to killer shack walls, I don't know if that was specific to that game, or that map, just weird, and no one else has reported it..
