Leveling up a character and the game errored me the the main screen
PC - STEAM
I logged in for the free 1000 shards and 500k bloodpoints. I then had 13,000 shards so I bought 3 perks that I already had which put me at a total of 980,000 bloodpoints because of the free 500k.
I began upgrading Jill and then my game errored me out to the main screen. I clicked to load in, it did the lil intro and then my game force quit. I verified my game files and logged back in, only to see that Jill did not get any rank upgrades, but I did lose all the shards and bloodpoints that I invested.
I'm not sure how to replicate the issue but I took a screenshot of the after. If you can check transactions based upon accounts, you would see that my numbers do not add up for what I invested in.
This occured to me last year, actually. But slightly different. I lost progress on pips and character upgrades last year when a similar issue happened. The game errors out of a lobby and I lose all progress that took place.
How to resolve: Gimme back roughly 200k bloodpoints <3
