General Suggestions & Ideas for DBD.
Here are some suggestions which could be rewarding to new players and experienced players.
1.Events.
Yes there are events, and currently there is an ongoing anniversary event, but the events are so rare. Something such as a 10% increased bloodpoint gain every Sunday for example. or an event where you get 2x irridescent shard for each time you level up your account.
2.Login Rewards
Again, with the current ongoing event, there is a reward for every day you log in. Instead it could be if you log in every day for a whole week you get 500 irridescent shards, then the next week you get 50k bloodpoints, and then maybe after a month you get 100 auric cells in that cycle, so every 3 weeks you get auric cells. the only problem is that this would allow f2p players to buy licensed killers which I understand why BHVR wouldn't want to do. Instead there could be a new currency that is partially like auric cells, and could be called Auric Lite (Not a good name, just an example) which still allow you to buy cosmetics but not killers.
3.Game Rewards
Could be like daily quests, however it could be that if you reach milestones with a new UI e.g. 100 total played games, you get a 2x bloodpoint gain for your next 10 games or winning 50 games with a killer which gives you 25k bloodpoints and a cosmetic for that killer, which you can create 2-3 extra exclusive cosmetics to these killers for the quests, and also could even have a quest to unlock the last teachable so if completed you only need to get them to level 35. Also please BHVR fix some of the teachables, I don't want to get No mither after dead hard but it makes so much more sense...
The reason I find these ideas would work are the following:
Increasing grind - New players have nothing to start off with except basic killers & survivors assuming they havent bought special versions of the game, or DLCs - It is very hard to level up anyone in general to level 50 and takes hundreds of thousands of bloodpoints minimum per killer/survivor. Increased bloodpoint gain helps make the game more enjoyable by getting more perks sooner. Also with new chapters getting added, theres more and more perks that are being added and it gets harder.
The game's current state - In general theres tons of bugs, glitches which either really make the game fun or ruin it. Played hillbilly once the other day, even though im terrible with him. I kept on bumping into non-existent hitboxes a metre away from the actual object. Yeah, I'm bad and thats partially my fault for not knowing when and where to chainsaw, but not fully me. You may ask yourself what does this have to do with getting bloodpoints and cosmetics. This is partially a distraction, to get some extra time to fix the game and make it enjoyable again. It won't last forever, this will raise playercount temporarily but that wont last forever either. its time to fix game-breaking bugs, rebalancing killers, listening to the community, and caring atleast a bit more about quality of the game instead of the money as in the end, preserving the game well will probably make the most out of it. Almost every would rather wait on a chapter a week or two later if it means we can play from the start with no troubles or issues.
Boredom - Dead by Daylight, even as a pretty addictive game, can get boring after a few hours no matter if youre experienced or a starting player. However its mainly at a higher level, with having all killers and all survivors leveled up which gives little motivation as there is no target. having exclusive cosmetics to killers with custom quests gives motivation to play the game and encourage newer players to spend money on getting new "exclusives" (BHVR take notice, we know you love that $$$).
Anyways, I haven't got anymore ideas tbh, I'll probably edit if I got any more. Please comment what you think of these as I don't really know if its just me that wants this or others too.
