Different Game Mode Concepts

I know that implementing new game modes takes a long time to do, but I wanted to suggest a couple of basic game mode concepts, that we could see down the road.

RANKED MODE
Right now, the game is only Ranked mode. It should be a game mode for competitive play, without SWF and KYF. This would solely be for players that want to test their skills to see if they can make it out alive or kill everyone. Each rank tier would increase the difficulty of certain actions for both survivor and killer, where only the best survive. Ranked mode would be locked until a player qualifies for it under a new mode: Ranked Practice mode. Ranked mode would provide prizes based on what rank the player was when the season ends. This mode would be the most efficient way to get blood points.

RANKED PRACTICE MODE
This would be a qualifier stage for players to unlock Ranked mode (some games have something exactly like this). The Ranked Practice mode would be a few trials set around the difficulty of the brown ranks of Ranked mode. Once the player has secured enough pips, they can unlock Ranked mode. Ranked mode will remain unlocked, even after rank resets, until the player has ended the season in the brown ranks. If the season ends with a player that was in the brown ranks, Ranked mode becomes locked again, and the player would need to play Ranked Practice mode again. SWF and KYF would not be permitted with Ranked Practice because they would not be permitted in Ranked mode.

DARKNESS MODE
This would be a true horror-based mode, similar in concept to White Noise. Normal trial, but with no lighting, no items, no add-ons. Survivors come with a rechargeable flashlight, and can find maps, toolboxes, or med-kits from chests. Survivors would start together and would need to stay close to each other for protection. Repairing generators provides light to the area around the repaired generator. Killer would have night vision, but increased weakness to lights. Longer exposure to the light allows them to build resistance to blinding. They would move slower (105% speed) and no red stain, and have access to their powers (but still no add-ons). Survivors would be able to pick themselves up in the case of slugging (which would be a legitimate strategy for taking a survivor away from the group, because the others can't immediately follow). The killer can pick a downed survivor up and carry them to the basement, where the only hooks are (along with increased wiggle time to give the killer a chance to make it there). Hooked survivors may be rescued, but it would be extremely risky. Getting blinded or hooking a survivor will transport the killer to a random area at least 50 meters away from a survivor. In the event of one survivor remaining, and at least 2 generators repaired, the last survivor may seek out the hatch as an alternate escape. Team work recommended, so coordinate your perks in the lobby. Ideal for SWF and KYF.

FARMING MODE
This would be a time-based mode, where players have 5-10 minutes to acquire as many points as they can. Survivors can be downed, but not slugged. They can also be hooked, but will never reach stage 2 of the sacrifice. Generators may be repaired, and 90 seconds after finishing, the generator's progress is reset to 0. Pallets destroyed return after 2 minutes. Survivors may open Exit Gates, but can never enter them. After 90 seconds, the gates will close again. Cleansed totems will respawn after 60 seconds, 30 seconds in the instance of a hex totem. Survivors that are mori'd will be able to pick themselves up after 10 seconds. Meant to be inefficient, players are awarded 10% of their score as blood points. Actions towards achievements would either be locked or restricted to 1 action per trial.

CASUAL MODE
Bare bones match. No perks, no items, no add-ons, no offerings, just skill.

    How could you forget about a 2vs8 mode. Good post by the way. Also, instead of a Rank Practice mode, just implement a minimun level to get to play rank games. Like, you need to reach level 50 or 75 for example, before hitting the ranked system.
