The Legion | Changes

PROLOGUE — The Legion
It's pretty much common knowledge, most players in the community can agree The Legion pretty boring to play against and doesn't have a high skill ceiling for the veteran players who want to squeeze as much as they can from them.
My goal is to make them fun to play as and against, by making them more dynamic!
Feral Frenzy
Special Ability — Blood Rush
Upon pressing the ability button, you break into a frenzy, making you fast and lethal for a total duration of 10 seconds. During the frenzy:
- For the first 3 seconds of Frenzy or when Frenzy refreshes its duration, you sprint at 150% your normal movement speed, then for the remainder of the time, sprint at 125% your normal movement speed.
- Attacking a survivor will injure them, if they weren't already, then apply a certain amount of laceration to them based how many chain hits you have accumulated. Additionally, it refreshes your Frenzy duration.
- After attacking a survivor with Frenzy, can chain hits between different survivors. During this time, any survivor sprinting within your terror radius will reveal their aura to you.
- When a survivor's laceration meter is full, they automatically lose a health state. Laceration fully decays once their health state changes [I.E. Healing to healthy or entering dying status].
- Feral Frenzy will go onto cool-down [25 seconds] if you fail to perform a proper chain attack, the duration expires, or you manually cancel Frenzy. Additionally, you will suffer from a moderate fatigue duration.
Special Ability — The Legion
When you maintained at least 9 laceration points across all survivors, this ability becomes usable until laceration falls out of range.
While on a survivor's scratch marks, press the ability button to call upon another Legion member to chase the owner of the scratch marks [AI will follow the exact path of the scratch marks, nothing special] at a reduced movement speed [4.2m/s] for duration of 45 seconds. If the survivor is attacked by the Legion member, they will become injured, if they weren't already and gain a moderate amount of laceration.
Cool-down of 45 seconds after duration ends.

Feedback is appreciated, as well as concerns!
I believe this is the best way to make The Legion more dynamic while keeping their fast and lethal playstyle!

I got alergic to Laceration thing, because of Trickster. But idea about actually using Legion members is nice tho.
I don't like the part that you can see only sprinting survivors. It is really hard to chain hits even with current version, when survivors split. With this change, you wouldn't even see them, when they are working on gens, so chain hits would be possible only when you found them healing or working on gen together, which they would stop and would counter Legion even more than now.
if I understand it correctly, then you have no way to remove Laceration and Legion is able to down survivors, if they reach 6 Laceration?
Well, it would be possible only with chain hits, so it is fine I guess.
I am not sure 110% is justified to be honest, but I think you would be able to traverse bigger distance with frenzy, so maybe worth a trade, hard to tell. When survivors split up, this version would be worse than current version.

Before, you could only chain hits with survivors who are not Deep Wounded, which made it difficult to go between survivors. This version, you can chain hits easier because the only requirement is to make sure each survivor is different than the last. Meaning, you can ping pong between survivors fast, racking up quick laceration. This can be especially devastating if survivors have high laceration because any sort of chain hit will likely be enough to down them. Chaining downs is pretty nasty.
The only way to remove laceration is to enter the healthy or dying status.

Ok, then it sounds really good.
I still don't like 110% tho. You would often need to down survivors m1 anyway and this would make it way harder.
Also I have no idea how much value you would get from The Legion, if they just follow scratch marks, then what will they do if survivors just start to walk? or vault / drop pallet.

Scratch marks are an easy way for me to describe their AI. Essentially they follow the EXACT PATH that survivor takes, starting them on scratch marks allows you to pick who to target.
If they Vault / Use a Pallet, they will either vault the window or break the pallet — then resume the chase. 🙂

So basically The Legion would most likely disable one survivor from game for 45 seconds, becuase it would just not do any mind games, so it wouldn't be hard to run him. Which is still pretty good slow down.
Well, if they are injured and have less than 3 Laceration, then they can just take it.
Would you be able to see aura of The Legion (as Nemesis see zombies)?
That would be super fun, with that I would gladly take 110%, because you could hunt survivor together.

That's why I made The Legion 110% because you can use your ability to sandwich survivors once you have enough laceration accumulated across the team. Some situations, survivors will be put in a lose-lose situation, so I thought it's only fair. Upon the, you still have Feral Frenzy to get easy injures and chains — great for stalling and downs.
