Good Start but Spirit is Still Op
She still has strong base-kit and broken add-ons. We still have not clue about her: Is she phasing, is she behind me or just baiting me etc.
New Iron Will can help little but this killer is still so strong.

I think they went the wrong way about it. Stridor was fine, they should have changed her basekit/addons instead of the perk just because of one killer.

They rejected nerf DS for years (except small nerfs) but at least they nerfed it because there was so much complain about this perk. We will keep complain about Spirit.

This is BHVR, not big surprise. But i am glad Stridor Spirits get destroyed. I am okey with any nerf for Spirit.

All i want is a phasing animation, this way a spirit can still fake by going into phase mode, but they see as much as the survivor does.
So either she goes around the loop or just phases while staying in place. That's better than just standing still as a "mindgame".
Only then i would think she is balanced.

You just need to learn to play against her. I'm pretty sure BHVR intends to keep her the way she is. They chose not to give her a phasing animation during her re-work because they want it to be a secret.
Even if you could tell she was phasing it would still be a guess on where she might reappear.

And how she is not broken lol? She does not need any skill. You just need to read voices, scratches or if you are using add-on bloods. Spirit is not hard and does not need skill.
I am Blight main and learning him was so hard. Also i am still trying learn Nurse and she is also so hard. But Spirit? She is strong like both them and with low skill. And i did not talked about her broken add-ons. Otz already made video for this, watch him.

I watch most of Otz's content. He's wrong about spirit. Most people don't play the game for 40 hours per week like he does. I mean, the man has completed 50 kill streaks on almost every killer. Not many people can do that. Casual players need strong Killers without a high skill ceiling. Spirit may not be as hard as Nurse to learn, but she is harder than most other Killers because she has to rely almost entirely on sound and there are several ways to counter that or take advantage of it as survivor.

Otz is one of the good killer mains. I am agree with him. Maybe Spirit can keep her base-kit. But her add-ons needs changes.

Give her a fatigue state when she fully depletes her power gauge. This will encourage the use of phasing in small bursts, as was intended, and raise the skill ceiling a little so players need to control their phasing to prevent it fully depleting.
This would barely change her for skilled players, while stopping her being the 'stupidly easy, no skill killer'. More similar to Nurse, and people give Nurse a pass because she takes 'skill' to play.

Because Spirit is unfair and unhealthy. Simple. I love this game and i wanna see all problems to fixed.

I honestly don't even think the Stridor/Iron Will interaction needed to be nerfed. I just think Spirit needs to give some kind of information about what she's doing while phased. Omnidirectional moaning would be fine to let you know that she is close, without giving away her exact position. That would also kill her do nothing mind game. Which would be good. It's a dumb mind game.

Tiptoe around the main problem in its entirety and change something else that isn't the main problem. Now Spirit's hard counter to iron will is gone, iron will is now a hard counter to Spirit and she still has all of the issues that everybody has gone through a hundred times over. Oh and stridor is now another trash tier perk, it's literally completely useless.
Legendary, BHVR. Absolutely classic.

This is a terrible start.
This is a band-aid fix to Spirit.
It's not even A DIRECT nerf to her power. All they did is nerf one perk which now became even more useless than it already was.
Terrible, terrible start... Now Stridor is in dire need of a rework, we'll see one in 2 years, more or less...

Having a killer that is possibly the easiest in the game to play, and be able to consistently 4k with little counterplay on the survivor side is extremely unhealthy. Why do you think every spirit is a total sweatlord?
People hardly ever play her because of her power, lore, design, etc. They play her because she is easy, it’s the same with what happened to Freddy.

Sound changes and a killer that relies solely on hearing during her power.
I didn't think she was worse than any other killer. This change should be all that's needed.
At least now it's just bad Survivor decisions and not a single perk with the blame for failure.

I don't think she shouldn't be changed, and she is one of the stronger and easier killers to play. But she's not some impossible OP monster that you don't have a chance against and all you can do is DC, like everyone seems to pretend she is. Her existence isn't an outrageous insult to all gamers. People who play her are not child molesters. She's just one of the stronger killers.
I escape against Spirit all the time.
I lose AS Spirit all the time.
I'm a better killer than I am survivor. I do much, much better as Distressing Doctor or Windstorm Wraith these days, than I do as Spirit, though she is one of my regular killers to play.

You cant hear phasing sound if you're in the husk's TR
Which is why I use Nurse calling rather than Stridor.
I see you're healing at 28m, I step up a few step to have it 20-24m. Then I phase to you, and you dont even hear both phasing & TR (because the range is far so TR volume is low).
I didnt know and I have Tier3 Nurse calling, I recommend use Tier2. Which exact her TR range

I'm a good killer who can 4k most games with Ghosty, Trapper, and Pig but can't with spirit. That being said I suck with spirit but admit have not spent much time on her but I shouldn't need to apparently.

Also if spirit is as OP as you claim, then no one will ever escape.
But since people do escape, even in tournaments, it shows she is not OP but strong.
