Unresponsive controls after an unsuccessful Mori on someone who disconnected

I play on Switch; I'm not sure if this is a universal problem or not. In a game when I was playing as The Spirit and was about to perform a Mori on a survivor, they suddenly decided to disconnect just as the meter to perform the Mori popped up. After they DCed, I couldn't move at all. I tried to swing my weapon, move around normally, use my power, etc, and nothing worked. The only button that worked was the pause button.

I know this bug is probably infrequent, but it's game-breaking when it happens.
