Clown needs optimization.
Before dedicated servers came around Clown could be played optimally even though he of course had balancing issues. As dedicated servers would be released to go live, he would still be playable but have some glaring issues that would allow the survivor to scream but not obtain the hindered status effect/coughing etc, running expansion add-ons would fix this issue completely. Since before the addition of the antidote the tonic gas would have a faster spread. Clown rework goes live, everything seems okay with the antidote, but the tonic spread clearly receives a nerf, I could understand this to make the gas seem more realistic since if I threw at a tree from the right side it should only flow down to the right side, not a perfect radius. I'm quite curious to understand why this decision was made? Because in the patch notes it stated that the clouds would have the same physics, but they don't whatsoever. Resident evil chapter comes out, and it clearly shows that this big boy clown needs optimization, people are saying this is a bug. It is not, it is a server issue. But clearly after these server issues are looked at, Clown needs some work to make sure that his tonic works perfectly, it hurts the flow of matches. It makes Clown add-on reliant again having to run ether 15% over and over for loops. The only fix I could recommend is too allow the gas from the tonic to expand way faster and flow down faster so the survivor receives the experience from his power. Clown is a chase killer, means he needs to be able to make fast decisions and have a working power. I hope the developers reconsider and get to work on this as soon as possible, because I find clown to be one of the most neglected killers in the game, but has extreme amounts of potential if optimized. Also I'm not asking for another buff either, I just want him to work like most of the roster does.
