End results needs an update
So this game is fun, the devs talk about how you're supposed to have fun. With the pip system and the devs own words, we shouldn't, at least as survivors, look soley at the outcome as the success of an experience. You can get a pip (even two) without surviving and that says something. Heck, look at the horror we watch and you'll see the good guy doesn't always live, sometimes winning isn't surviving and sometimes the survivor is the selfish jerk who just got lucky.
So this suggestion is simple. Change the results screen for survivors to be less binary. It already happens for the killer, who has multiple outcomes, but the survivors have just two and those two heavily stress if you managed to survivor or not.
Maybe I get hooked, but my getting hooked means three others made it out, instead of "Sacrificed" I might get, "Heroic Martyr". Maybe I died, but I scored really well in altruism and I kept the killer busy, maybe instead of "Sacrificed" I get "Guardian Angel.". It doesn't' take a lot of thought to come up with really cool sounding outcomes that gives the player a sense of winning even in the face of death and this really fits the theme of the game and the horror genre in general, where not every hero is a survivor.
The flip side of course is maybe I survive but I did nothing all match, maybe instead of "Escaped" I could get, "Lucky Coward". Maybe I left my friends to die at the end, instead of "Escaped" I get "Heartless Deserter."
Anyway, my point is that there are opportunities here to make the end game result screen match more the theme of the game and the direction the game has gone in a long time that could add flavor without having to fundamentally make drastic changes.
