Game unresponsive after reconnect

• Platform: PC (Windows 10)
• Description: When being disconnected due to 8,012 after a reconnect the game just displays the main menu background (all animated, so not frozen or anything) but no menu and any key inputs are ignored
• Steps to reproduce
- Get DCed because the service went offline DURING a game
- Try to continuously reconnect (and fail a few times)
- Keep reconnecting (eventually the service is back up)
- See screenshot (no menu, just the background)
• How often does this occur
Only happened to me once now.
